floating under the expanse of stars (part 2)

finally, the long awaited part 2 to floating under the expanse of stars, made in FL Studio with Noire Pure piano, SWAM violin + cello, and stock string section (and generously soaked in ValhallaShimmer)
i actually had the part 2 to this song partially written down already when i released the first part (hence the fade out at the end of the first video), but because the entire song is pretty long i put out the first part by itself to gauge audience reaction, and at the time of writing it is my most popular upload yet! (*^▽^*)
so i hope you enjoy the second part just as much as the first (if not more), and of course, thanks for listening :D
and join the solare system discord if you havent already ♪(^∇^*)
/ discord
(warning big wall of text about composition below)
when i first started floating under the expanse of stars, i had the main five-note motif (e-d-e-a-b) in mind throughout writing, along with a simple C major - D major - E minor - G major progression to go with it
but with some experimenting i found that the motif also works with a progression like F major - G major - A minor - C major, without needing to even transpose the melody
so i established two sections, one in the key of G major and one (that starts) in the key of A minor, and thats one of the main reasons why there's two parts :)
also, you might have noticed that the violin and orchestral parts take a more prominent role in this part :O this is actually because when the first part was initially being written i didnt actually have either the violin or orchestra! when i started writing part 1 it was originally just supposed to be a piano piece but im glad i added them on a whim and decided to keep using it (•̀ω•́)✧
while i was writing part 2 i knew that it was going to be tricky since an emotional climax of sorts was already established in part 1, so i needed some more development on the melody in the second part to make it actually satisfying as a whole
so i tried to create variations on the melody by flipping it, both left-to-right and upside-down(sort of), and it actually sounded good so that's what i went with :3
i suppose overall that means the five-note motif appears in a total of three different "variations" so to speak (four if including different rhythms) which is really cool :D
ok yapping over i hope you love this as much as i loved making it (✿◡‿◡)

the previous one made me feel a desperation and aspiration i have felt many times before, to achieve or do something so badly that the image is nearly as clear in my mind as something i see with my eyes, yet i am unable to follow through due to it either being impossible or i simply lack the discipline to get there, a feeling like having a vast view if stars and galaxies before you, yet you are chained to a rock and unable to get loose But this one changes things, i feel like i finally started realising something, started breaking the chains and finally working towards the goals the plagued my mind to make them a reality, i unlocked and released everything weighing me down and finally lift off into the galaxy i always saw but could never reach in short terms this made me feel motivated and helped me realise that if i dont give up, maybe i can achieve my dreams, even if that wasnt the original meaning this song was going for

That feeling of being caught in a wonderful moment that you know you'll cherish forever with someone, almost as if time stops for you to relish in the presence of the stars to thank them for giving you and your loved one such an amazing experience in such a short life on Earth; that your soul will carry that memory even after your soul moves on. That's what this feels like to me. ❤

Even if you're already receiving tons of comments like mine, I hope you'll be happy to know that you made someone's evening :) (and btw sorry for my english, it's not my native language, so I hope you understood everything :'))

Also, I have something to add. I know by experience that making music when you're so in love with music often comes when you're "low", or at least when you have things to tell. Whatever could those "things" be, you're telling them the best way. Thanks again for making us feel with your music, it's far from being given to everyone !
