I wouldn’t say I have a strict method of doing it. But something that helps is thinking about the idea of call and response. So your first melody (or motif) will be the “call” and then you think how you can make a “response” to it. It can be something entirely different or very similar to the first part, as long as they feel somewhat connected. Another way you can do it is thinking about how you would continue it if you were to make it longer. And another thing you can do is repeat it but change a part of it. There’s no strict formula to follow, experiment and see what works best for you!

The usage of violins in an electro/more modern song really reminds me of Lindsey Stirling, a majority of her songs involve more high tempo violins as a foreground for her music. Having the violins fade into the background is a very cool divergence from most violin songs I've heard. Very unique sound style and very well done. Congrats on 1k my dude

There was a time where I listened to A LOT of Lindsey Stirling! Her music helped in showing me the whole “classical” + electronic music space and even tho I don’t listen to her songs as often anymore, it definitely changed the way I see music, it was also because of her music I started taking violin seriously lmao And yea, the violin is an instrument that is often the protagonist of whatever piece it’s in, but it can also give unique textures that are often not appreciated enough :v And thanks a lot!!

@@mios_music ohh, i surely did enjoy your other songs. in fact, i have been listening to your weekly challenge tracks pretty often for the last few days now. I haven't checked all of them out yet, but for now i have a few tracks in those that i constantly go back and listen again. Im usually not much of an explorer when it comes to music and i like sticking to what i have for some serious times and have an habit of always listening tracks on loop for hours alone. But that playlist caused an exception and now i force myself to not put single tracks on loop, at least in your playlist. And it usually doesn't let me down. I gotta thank you for this. In the end, you not only have a new sub, but maybe a new fan, who knows?
