Definitely cleared uo some things I've never been sure of about bolo fishing, especially with regards to the Shot v Olivette, Carbon Stem and also the Flourocarbon. Many thanks for straightening that out for me, James

Hey James , A master class in Bolo float fishing, I’m not even interested in float fishing really only because I’m a feeder addict Albeit i Do like a change & fail miserably when I practice float fishing I’ve never tried bolo float fishing but a “Bolo” is definitely on the agenda! Thought Bolo floats had a shoulder to hold back on but two floats are ‘inverted pear’. This because they are overshot?

I don’t like to use Bolo floats with a pronounced shoulder as they create a lot of resistance on the strike. This can cause problems with bumped fish when using smaller hooks.
