Holy crap I can’t believe I’ve gone this many years not realizing that not all usb cables send data because they only send power. When you install both XFW and RM firmware, are you actively running both at the same time ? Or are you just able to choose between the two in qflip

Love the info but question, you install esp flasher BEFORE you installed rogue master. Does that mean if I follow your video step by step and install esp flasher before rogue master, then do I need to go back to flipc and then reinstall esp flasher with the rogue master firmware chosen?

Hey Sasquach, I just got my flipper and I am following this guide after watching a ton of your videos. I just got the repository and now I am on the custom firmware part. I watched a lot of videos on unleashed and extreme (not sure if they are the same thing). At least from a video standpoint I'm not entirely sure what the advantages/ disadvantages are to switching to a custom firmware. I'm assuming the stock and custom still pull from that repository?

I got all the way to 13:41 but when trying to install the silicon labs universal drivers I get an error message "The third-party INF does not contain digital signature information". Plus, my extracted files don't show the suffix, i.e. .inf; so when I right click no option to install.

Dude I just ordered a flipper zero and a WiFi dev board and as soon as I did it went to sold out so I’m happy I did it might just be I ordered the last dev board now I am seeing flipper zero’s themselves still in stock but there going fast people get one while you can!!!

I followed everything and it worked perfectly (I flashed Xtreme) but then a day later I wanted to check RM so I flashed that but now when I reflashed Xtreme I no longer see the option the flash either Marauder or Evil Portal I only see one option which is Marauder (has Evil Portal).

Great walk through, I'm just having one issue I hope you can help me with. I was also following you through your marauder tutorial and my .pcap files are empty. Any idea what I can do to get them to actually contain the data. It shows on screen it is sniffing the packets. Thank you

Hey talking sas', I'm trying to paste Ubers-SD-Files on my SD card, but it tells me it's protected in writing, does that come from the fact that I formatted this card using the flipper zero, or is it something else? Thanks in advance

Yeah, you just need to flash between them. Only takes a few minutes

Why installing Roguemaster before XFW if the latter is already based on the first one? Also, the reason you got the first esp32 installation wrong was the firmware version (you had a RC version of OFW but you selected unofficial.)

What I would ABSOLUTELY LOVE is if somebody would put all the functionality of the flipper zero into a sonic screwdriver design. DOCTOR WHO MOD ANYONE?

Hey I am having this issue: Connecting... Connected successfully. Try hard reset. [Object.debug:374] Finished read loop Error: Couldn't sync to ESP. Try resetting. I tried holding boot > plug in end result is still the same I also tried holding boot > plug in > press/release reset > release boot but I still get the same error. What do I need to do?

Does the FZEE flasher and flasher on the Flipper Zero support only the wifi module sold by the flipper zero store or can you flash any ESP32? I have a Freenove Esp32-s3-wroom cam board and was going to try and use it with my Flipper. I tried to get it to work a few months ago but had to put it aside or chunk it due to irritation. Any advice and/or help would be greatly appreciated! Also, thanks for the videos.

Is formatting the SD card not needed anymore? Does the update just format your card before updating it? I recently got into all of this, and your videos help immensely.

It's not a bad idea and Flipper will tell you if it needs to be formatted and it can even do it for you.

@talkingsasquach Thanks for the great videos, I followed your tutorial and I'm having an issue with the dev board I can get it to do the Rick roll and when I go to do the deauth it appears to be working, but it doesn't knock me off my Wi-Fi. I go in and plug the number info the ap, save it and deauth fails.
