I don’t think it’s wrong to say Flipped is the most underrated movie of all time. Such a touching and beautiful story told from two perspectives that build on each other perfectly
This is one of those cases where the movie adaptation did justice to the book. I loved this book as a preteen and teen, and find this movie adaptation endearing. Well done. It pulls at the heartstrings and is nostalgic, especially because it was relatable during adolescence.
This movie is so underrated.☹️

As someone who has a mentally disabled brother, this film was so heartwarming. The way they depicted Juli’s uncle was impeccable. The pure joy and innocence, that it’s a child forever trapped in a growing body. The way people stare and judge and it makes you so mad because they only ever see the worst. The temper tantrums and outbursts are also very accurate. You feel slightly embarrassed but still support and love him. My brother is pretty much exactly like this except he is non-verbal.

the trailer didn't do the movie justice. if i watch the trailer before i watched the movie, i don't think i'd be watching it. the movie is so much more amazing and i literally cried so many times during the movie, it was insane. its not a sad movie but it makes you appreciate little things around you so much more or maybe im just cry baby.

Literally my favorite tv show. EVER.
It was my first time watching Flipped, I love how pure and innocent this movie is! It made my heart fluttered and melted too at the same time. This is such a genuine love of two young people.
I watched this movie as a kid and everytime I watch this my heart just flutters, thus, I can feel butterflies in my stomach, so yeah this is a great movie, and I'm 'bout to re-watch this while on quarantine

In the book, he was a handsome man, with blue eyes, and bryce had his eyes. He was, like Chet would say, less. Someone really selfish, idiot and stupid. In the movie they seemed like he was sad. But in the book, his wife realized how ridiculous he was, after he made fun with david

In fifth grade, I had a horrible teacher and year, but the best part was that some days he read us this story. I fell in love with the story and now it's part of my childhood happy flashbacks. All kids and teens should watch this. Definitely the child at heart.
Just finished watching this movie. First of all, it was beautiful and amazing, and I love the fact that they showed both characters' perspectives or point-of-views throughout the entire movie. And second of all, it was really worth watching and absolutely worth my time. And for some reason, while watching the whole movie, I felt kinda sad, sentimental, and even nostalgic. And I really felt that feeling that I am with them. It's just so pure, the acting, the emotions, the script, everything. This is really something that I would watch again. And one day, I will find that kind of love that Juli and Bryce has. The feeling of sitting on a sycamore tree and seeing the world, the feeling of getting ignored by my crush, the feeling of ignoring someone who has a crush on me, and most of all, the way Bryce looked at Juli with his dazzling eyes, and the way Juli looks at Bryce. One day, I'll have that. April 20, 2021 ✨💕☺️

We need more movies like this, pure, innocent. And kudos to the production, it resembles a pre-millennial film so much that I couldn't believe it is a 2010 movie. Love the nostalgia. Lives were less complicated.

i agree with every sentence you said right to the last dot!!! I miss just good old, sweet, innocent, less compicated romance movies.
that smile on the thumbnail is pure, it must be protected
So far I watched almost all of hollywood Romance Dramas, I never found the better story plot which as good as KDrama But "Flipped" really really amazed me away... The story, the acting, cinematography, soundtracks, and everything about that movie is so perfect... 10/10. I wish more for the romance skinship between the leads but it's okay since I could make my own imaginary thing
Bryce : When she walked out of the door, i thought back to the first time i saw her. How could anybody, ever have wanted to run away from Juli? Juli : He looked at me with those eyes. Those once again dazzling eyes. And i knew that Bryce was still walking around with my first kiss. But he wouldn't be for long. As we stood there, i realised that all these years we never really talked. But that day was started. Bryce : and i knew we'd be talking for a long time. 5 seconds later Bryce touched her hand. I was hoping for a kiss. It's a wonderful film. I'm in love with this movie. ❤️😍🙌

Hello
It hurts that none of the romantic/teenage movies aren’t like this 😭😭😭 I love this movie and the book
So for anyone wanting a summary of the movie, it goes a little like this: Girl likes boy for a long time Boy doesn't like girl and is mean to her Girl stops liking boy Boy starts liking girl That's it folks. That's the entire movie right there. Edit: Guys I never said it wasn't a good movie. I was just a bit angered by the audacity of the boy. Julie was by far my favorite character, because she had character development, and learned to not be used by someone. The guy, that's how I will refer to him as he doesn't deserve for me to say his name, was just stuck up the entire time, until maybe near the end when they were in the tree if I remember correctly. I don't really know, but my memory is foggy. Anyways, the book is better than the movie, as the entire message and plot is described so well. So go read the book.

the book came out when i was in 7th grade. i remembered my friends mentioning it but i don’t recall reading it. 10 years later the movie was released, but i was in college and didn’t know about it. fast forward another 10 years, im 32 years old and i randomly watch this on netflix having never seen the trailer or realized it was based on that popular middle school book my friends read. i love this movie so much. watched it twice. and i read the book. and now i’m listening to the movie soundtrack on spotify. oh man, this might be one of my all time fave! it makes me soooo nostalgic about childhood and the good ol days, before internet, social media, etc. setting it in the 60s was a really good fit.

This movie actually does make the book justice. Of course there are details missing, but I swear, it is a fair adaptation and this movie is also timeless.
my favorite coming of age/romance movie of all time.. i watched it for the first time at such a right age of 11, and i've rewatched it a lot ever since, and now i'm 20, the more i grow up the more i appreciate the story line, not only the relationship between julie and bryce but also the relationship between julie and her family, the side story line about her uncle, how her family was looked down upon, gosh i just love her characters so much. As an 11 y.o she inspired me so much, seeing her struggled but still being so brave at whatever she was passionate about, how she stood by what she believed in, and how she never changed for him. And in the end he realized how special she was too:) It's a great, heartwarming and genuine movie, it will forever hold a special place in my heart
