Today we have Jake Vaadeland joining us doing the Scruggs tune, Flint Hill Special with Ira. Sonora on guitar, Nate on mandolin and Darryl on bass.
We had gone over to the Vaadeland house just down the road to record one song with him, doing it in one take but then ended up playing and singing for another 2 1/2 hours. Lots of fun!! Nothing much more fun than jamming at the neighbor's house and finishing off with some lunch and visiting.

Ira plays a Gibson 1992 Earl Scruggs standard and Jake is playing a Huber.
