Good luck, my wife and I were together for 3 months over our first 2 years of marriage. Its a burden and I relate. Take the time, get everything in order. Wish you the the best of luck!

Say I don’t have the best vision, would I have any chance? Can’t see too well out of my left eye but I am 20/20 in my right

It is my understanding that corrected vision can be waived and once you're in you can basically have a lot of corrected vision without issue. Definitely double check with recruiters and flight Docs and Ft. Novosel/Rucker flight medical.

My recruiter said flight physical is done at Fort Rucker after getting selected. What I have read it that it actually needs to be done before the board interviews. Can you let me know what you did? Thanks so much

The sign off on the flight physical is part of your packet. In other words to submit a packet you have to have the physical documentation in the packet. I think logically the Army doesn't want to select someone out of a board who could potentially be denied on a physical in the future.

The optometry part was so annoying. It took nearly 12hrs to pass, literally had to FaceTime a friend to read expiration dates on bread when I went grocery shopping. Preciate the advise and informative insight on the whole WOFT process. I’m scheduled to take my SIFT tomorrow, really hoping I do well. Will be following up your videos for more information of the process. Thanks for doing what you do.

Keep the faith the whole way through the exam. Don't get down on yourself a single time, keep moving through it. You'll do GREAT! CRUSH IT.

@@WilldaBear I scored 65! Super happy. The Math part really kicked my butt. I scored 79 (from a 42) in the ASVAB, took college algebra, pre cal and calc 1, did online quizzes and still bombed the Math portion. The questions I just couldn’t wrap my head around. Ironically the Simple Drawings wasn’t that hard. I answered all 100 and missed 4. Aced the Reading portion, did well on the Mechanical and Aviation Knowledge parts. Hidden Figures also wiped me out, I think I only did 11. Special Apperception wasn’t bad either, just had to keep up. I didn’t finish it but I got majority of them right.

@@merrittorius labs, vision, hearing and initial blood pressure check. Pt 2 was EKG and in depth physical with a flight medic but she said I might get gigged on my blood pressure so we’ll see 🤞🏻
