My hourly was $ 8.80/hr ,when I began working as an RN in 1982. By the time I retired in 2014 my hourly was $48.03/hr. Would like to go to the flight attendant route .I’m receiving an RN pension , so I wouldn’t be starving or hard up for money. Timing when to apply as I’m receiving Social Security benefits, If you understand the Social Security earnings limit ,you know why I’m waiting for the right time to apply.

I was dismiss last year on week 5. Getting ready to come back! Just applied did the assessment jumped video on demand and no sure what’s next. Anyway I have a few questions. I leave in Boston what are the chance for me to be based in Boston ( considering there are high chances that training would start early next year. Last year the base offered was Minneapolis 😩. I have 2 kids have an apartment in Boston I’m also a single mom😩should I keep going with the application process ?what does the first check and schedule looks like for the month after training ? And 6 months after ?Hopefully I can get and idea. I have been researching this since I have been interested to move forward. Hope you see my message and reply. Oh one more think can you share any tips on studying Narrowbody ( well the aircraft’s and retaining the information ?Thank you 😊

Hey Charlie!! I am still waiting on my training dates working for the same airline you work for. My question is that if we have reserve days as a commuter they will not pay for the hotels but if we are on a deadhead they will pay for the hotel, is that correct?

I’ve always love your air line but hate the idea of communicating. I don’t know about any other flight attendants but my airline pays $2 an hour but it caps at $48 on layovers.
