Being a flight attendant would be sick, you literally *get paid* to go wherever the plane you're working on is going. Although it would be very exhausting and you probably don't get to leave the hotel or roam around for long, it's still kinda cool

Personally I don't care about the looks of a flight attendant. For me it's important, that the service is good, that they are attentive and friendly. Make Up helps the flight attendant's to feel good, so it's more important to them than to the passengers. Still it is lovely to see a friendly face, no matter what age :-D

I always go from Chicago to LHR when i go home to visit my family and always get there in the morning so i can stay awake all day as i do get some sleep on the flight, my hometown is about 45 mins away from LHR

yes! Its the high altitude, your body has to adjust. When I first started as a flight attendant all I ever wanted to do was sleep.

We can wear any uniform variation we want. And we just got new uniforms so I'll be doing a video on them soon :)

Ok 1) your videos are GREAT! 2) How ling do flight crews typically stay together? Like are you with the same people for just one flight or are you together gor a couple weeks or whatever?

The crew stays together for as long as the trip sequence is. So for example if its a 3 day sequence with 2 flights a day, then we are together all three days on all our flights. :)

Do the flight crews like all hang out with everyone on these types of things or is it just flight attendants or flight attendants and the pilots

Hey Stella! Would you ever be able to do a tour of the cool "member" clubs inside airports? I've also heard of flight attendant sleeping quarters on longer flights. Have you ever had to sleep in one of those and what is it like? Where is it?

I love watching your channel. I miss working for the airlines, I left Delta after almost 15 years to have a family. By the time I was ready to work again the salary was non sustainable, so I went into another field. I was not a flight attendant (every interview was proceeded with some kind of disaster, broken heel, hair color incident, mud splash from car on suit, loss of contact in lobby,to me, that was a sign I was not meant to fly lol) but am shocked that you are not paid until the doors are closed and you are backing away from the gate. I know you all do so much work before this, I think it is a great injustice for all flight attendants. You work, you get paid. Someone should raise an alarm. I hope one day this injustice is fixed for you. My boss freaks if I stay even 10 min after my shift ends , even if I want to stay and catch up on some work. They dont want the union and the city to think they force me to work without getting paid. Thanks for your videos!

Just curious, does your airline commonly only give you a 12 hour layover after an overseas flight? I'm also an FA and they typically have to give us at least 24 hours after an overseas flight but they can reduce it due to irregular operations if they have to. I did notice you also said "normally we get a full day off to recover then fly home" so I'm just curious.

Yes normally we get a lot longer but this was a 2 day London. It was hard but I had such an amazing crew that it was one of my best trips!

We have crew bunks on the big wide body planes. Think bunk bed pods :), and actually comfortable

If it's like most in the us, they get paid hourly based on when the aircraft door is closed and open.
