I agree, it’s his choice to make and he’s made it, but I don’t particularly like my boss but I have to go to work still. I don’t care about his reasons, he should never be asked to put an England shirt on again, Ever. It shows me his mentality, I wouldn’t trust him to put himself on the line for his team if it came to that. I’d rather have the Maguire’s of this world pull a shirt on and blunder around on the field because we know it might not be pretty but he’ll give you everything his got and that’s what I want from a player. You only have to look at major championships, the most talented teams don’t always win, some times the teams with the most desire do!

Defensively white is better than trent and kyle walker, he is more of a complete fullback who can do a bit of everything although he doesnt have any stand out attributes like what trent and walker have. Yeah James can't be depended on for fitness but if I have to pick a team and have right back role, I would choose a fit James over white without hesitation and would be delusional not to do so! James is top class its only because he has had injury nightmares last 18 months that we forget.

@romelleking7426 Yes James may be done unfortunately. When he was playing regularly though, he was better than white athletically, and much much better in final third. Played crucial role in winning a champions league. He is a fantastic modern right back and in that role I would pick him over white every day...again though he would need to be fit for that to be a decision anyone will ever have to make in reality.

What is Ade talking about? Rice is and has played most of this season at Arsenal as a 6. He is a defensive midfielder first.

The situation seems plan as day - Steve Holland was extremely unprofessional with White and Southgate (surprise surprise something we’ve all seen him do repeatedly) is protecting one of his mates. All of White’s other managers and teammates across his clubs & loans have made a point to commend White’s attitude and professionalism. Until Holland issue is resolved White looks like he’s out.
