Pensé que solo yo había este método ya que así los tengo que reparar ya que es muy frustrante a veces encontrar otro idéntico y lo más triste muy costoso ya que a veces se aprovechan de la urgencia de buscar su reemplazo y no solo aplica para amplificadores o equipos de audio, también aplica para los demás aparatos como impresoras o laptops o otros dispositivos que manejen esta clase de flexi cable, gracias por enseñar un método para la comunidad electrónica, saludos 👍🙂.

Con este tutorial , pude reparar 4 Flex que tenia malos y los guarde para poderlos reparar algun dia , y lo logre hacer , ya los recupere, valla que no habia tirado a la basura .

El método que uso yo es mejor, ya que utilizas menos tiempo y no te arriesgas que puedas dañar un terminal por la mitad o el penúltimo pin. (Me ha pasado) Usar el mismo cortante pero calentarlo en la cocina....el Flex fijarlo con huincha a un pieza plana de aluminio.(ej: un disipador) Una vez calentada la hoja del cortante, lo arrastras de adentro hacia afuera y el plástico se derrite y quedan expuesto los pines .. Finalizo cortando una mica plástica para reforzar el flex

Sirve como para diagnostico. Resulta, que los contactos nuevos no son estañados, sino superficie de cobre al aire libre. Y se sulfatan y se oxidan en poco tiempo, sobre todo en las zonas humedas y calurosas.

can you warm up the area a bit with hot water or a hair dryer or heat gun ..just so the coating will come off easier so you dont have to apply to much pressure.. to be like a scratch off ticket so to speak.

why didn't they design using normal twisted pair wire cables, why was flat cable even invented for portable devices -ok, i do not like them,very easily damaged even while inserting into the slot if force applied on-the edge of the blue plastic sheet i t breaks internally.
