Season 2 is one of the most perfect seasons of television ever made. I've watched it over and over and over again. It's so good that you forget that season one is still fantastic as well. But season 2 man, it's a masterpiece

We must have watched a different show then....

One year in and my heart & soul are still crushed by the simple words of "It'll pass". Those words doesn't sound like a big deal if you've never watched the show... but if you know you know.

Completely agree. Only she could've played it coz she wrote it. Insanely nuanced.

I thought Fleabag was fantastic. One of the best, funnies and and warmest shows I´ve seen in a while. I do think season 2 was a little better than season 1, but lived season 1 as well. I wanted more of the show, but I´m glad that she is not compromising her creative view for more content. And after all, the finale was perfect. It was beautiful, heartbreaking and hilarious at the same time.

You should review Killing Eve. The first season was also directed by phoebe waller bridge and it's fantastic.

just finished season 1 and my god, i didn't expect to love it so much. It feels so real and the last episode of season 1 was surprising and heartbreaking... did not expect that twist about Boo.... the way the all serie is made, having "fleabag" turn to the camera and talk to the viewers made it feel like I was in the scene, the closest one to her....i cannot quite express what I feel right now but I'm looking forward for the 2nd season, I'll watch it very soon but I need to pause for a moment.

It Is a fantastic show and Phoebe is absolutely amazing, on a sidenote, when the BBC was casting the thirteenth doctor apparently Phoebe was in the short list to play the role, I was so excited, I think she would've been an amazing doctor, the world will never know.

Ok, question i just finished watching designated survivor is there a chance there gonna bring it back?

I love Fleabag - I do think s2 was better, tho that doesn't take away from s1 at all. There's so many slow burn shows these days, or shows that meander to meet the 8-10 episode commitment, I love how quick & snappy Fleabag was without compromising character & plot development. It's also great repeat watching - I've rewatched several times and it still makes me laugh & cry.

Yes it's different in a lot of different ways, many of the Amazon originals tend to be. I feel like I find more unique shows there.

Binge Watchers I might have to give Amazon more of a chance - I’ve only watched Fleabag, One Mississippi & Mrs. Maisel. I haven’t gotten into any of their more action/drama shows.

In a same way, "After life" is written and produced by Ricky Gervais. It's very similar in the dark humour and personal tragedy that is hidden behind that. It also is 12 episodes long, so it's a very quick watch. Defenitely worth your time if you enjoyed Fleabag.

Loved it and like you major part of i.e Phoebe Waller Bridge Still haven't watched wonder woman despite being a DCEU fan cause it feels like throabbing feminism down the throat and really sick of mediocre cliche stuff where the only thing new is the gimmick of "strong female lead" That being said, I loved fleabag caused it really focused on the "lead" rather the "she has to be strong" or "she's a woman" and still managed to give a very fresh female lead perspective not the typical "outrageous anti social" character

Not sure, usually not all seasons of a show are available if its also on a local TV channel. I got both seasons here in Israel (but tons of other shows are missing)

It's a while since you asked the question but basically the show is distributed by BBC Studios and the usual complexities of distribution in Britain and Ireland apply. Amazon's window to stream was later than in other territories which had a post BBC broadcast start date.

I watched both seasons in 1 sitting

Fleabag is fine .....but the gushing over Phoebe Waller Bridge is confounding ( maybe it is as simple as people always wanting the next "big thing")...by the way Miranda which Fleabag clearly rips off made me laugh a lot more !

started first ep but the 4th wall stuff just gets me out of the moment

I admit that I've been looking for less positive reviews of the show, because I feel there is a tidal wave of fodder coming from the industry for it and want to hear a different perspective more similar to mine. I went in really looking forward to it, and was fairly disappointed- the writing just isn't that great. The jokes were fine, but it's nowhere near the emotional juggernaut and introspection of Ramy. Nothing against Waller- Bridge, but it just isn't the masterpiece that so many are claiming it to be. It was fine, season 1 was a little boring, season 2 was more entertaining, mainly due to the priest, but I don't know why I just didn't find the issues very palpable. Admittedly, I also felt a a socioeconomic disconnect, another upper middle class life crisis, regardless of the main character's own circumstances.

Season of Fleabag is one of the most unique show/movie I have ever watched Can't put a single thing on slightly cliche or "seen it" the uniqueness of it what makes it so good Season 2 went on some cliche route though, I don't think the priest part was the best writing decision for season 2, still a fairly good season

Patriot was so boring with few comic moments
