Haven’t watched the reaction yet but I just gotta comment on something you said in the intro. You said she was so ashamed of sleeping with the priest that she pushed the camera down. I don’t think that’s why she did that. I think that unlike her other sexual encounters, this one really means something to her, so she wants to keep it private. If you think about it, her excluding us from that moment is much more healthy than all the times she chatted with us while engaged in the act before.

very true, perhaps 'ashamed' was the wrong choice of words. I'm sure a little of that crept in, but I think you were right that she just wanted something that she didn't have to share with anybody, even us! Oh for sure! And that's the first time she didn't want us with her, so that was the first time we've seen the growth we end up with in the last shot!

Father really did love her, but he loved his religion and his God more, I can't blame him even though I wish they were together. I don't know if someone already told you this or if you realized this reference on your own, but those foxes represent sin and "worldly desires", they will always follow him around to try and lead him astray, in a sense, Fleabag was also a fox.

I know, to some, that seems like an honorable thing to do, but as an atheist, I'm like...dude, you found the impossible: Love. Real, actual reciprocated love, and you gave it up for the assumed love of something you don't even know is there! That doesn't make sense to me (aside from the whole god making love and not allowing his envoys to experience it thing haha) They haven't, although I DID just watch an interview PWB had on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert and he asked her what it meant and she wouldn't say, but he thought it was a Hound of Heaven from some poem, and she was kind of blown away by that answer. To be honest, I do prefer your theory better though! It makes sense that he's afraid of the world and his desires for it, yet its always following him, like a constant companion lol Awesome theory!!!

I love just about everything about this ending. The line that Fleabag's father said about her being able to love better than anyone else and the pain that it causes her truly does define her, even through her self-sabotage. I love how Clare and Fleabag have let themselves be the sisters they always should have been. When Fleabag, who was always seen as the lesser and weaker sister, helps Clare up from her knees is, in my opinion, absolutely beautiful. I 100% agree with your comments about her playing the Doctor. Even if you do not use this as one of your video series, might I suggest that you watch "The Detectorists"? I have not seen any reactions to it, and I doubt that it has a big enough fanbase for you, but, even if you just watch it on your own, I think you would enjoy it. Just get past the first episode, which is a wee bit on the slow side. It is another with a damn near-perfect ending.

ya I feel like that line alone won them an award or two! lol you know I didn't even put that together. Claire had to literally beg for her freedom, and the person there to help her regain her dignity was her sister. The one who has shown the least amount of dignity throughout the series! hahaha Its definitely character development done right! I'd be ecstatic, but I feel like the BBC are going to go with a safer bet for the next Doctor, unfortunately, but who knows! Russel T loves to shake things up! I haven't heard of that show, but I did put it on the list! if it doesn't win within two polls I'll try to fit it into my personal watch schedule for you!

@@DFQreacts I agree that they will likely play it safe, but a girl (and a guy) can wish, right? I also would not mind Richard Ayoade as the Doctor. I doubt "The Detectorists" will win any polls, even though it is award winning and simply fantastic, simply because it is a pretty quiet, character driven series that few have heard of. As I said, I have yet to see anyone do a reaction to it. If you do watch it, at some point can you somehow let me know if you at least enjoyed it? If not, that is fine. Im very late but ran across this in my feed. I think that the thing that keeps coming up is Fleabag not knowing where to put her love. My feeling is that the whole story isn't about getting the one person who will fix everything, but learning to open yourself enough to love and where to put it. The first season she is so closed off from everybody (not all her fault), in the second series she is just constantly being there with almost everybody and every one of those people open back and gives that love back (or at very least she feels better for having done it). The culmination being her walking off being sad but feeling some warmth from having loved somebody and being okay with it..

Right Brain/ Left Brain are having a discussion/ debate with regards to the ending of this series, because I've been in this situation twice: Where it just Ends. No conflict. No guilt. No anything. And, on the one hand you/ I may wonder the 'What Ifs': What if lasted... What if it fell apart... What if it wasn't what it was or seemed to be.... What if I've missed out.... But, sometimes it is what it is... it was what it was... and that too is ok. And, if you're able to just let it be, then perhaps, that's exactly what it was meant to be. And, I think 'FleaBag' has come to that conclusion (on her own) and it's why she'll be ok... and doesn't need us anymore.

Oh no, I was excited for this episode but at the same time I didn't want it to end 😢 I want to say a lot of things but I'm going to try to summarize haha I also loved that line from Fleabag's dad too much. Even more what Claire told her, that just for her she would run in an airport, it was so sweet. Like I said before, the relationship between them is one of the things that I love the most about the series. Another thing, when the stepmom can't remember the name of Fleabag's father I think it was a way for Phobe to joke or give us a wink about the fact that the characters have no names, I found that funny haha. As for the hot priest, I can understand his decision a little, as they said in other comments, his relationship with God is very important to him and is part of who he is. I think that although it hurts sometimes it is necessary to let go of some things. And it's nice because they both got right to each other and Fleabag can now move on, knowing that she is capable of having something real... What a beautiful ending right? I can't help crying every time I watch it, seeing Fleabag saying goodbye to us, like it's sad, but at the same time I'm happy for her because she doesn't need us anymore. I also said goodbye to her the first time I saw this, with tears and a smile on my face 😂 it sounds silly, but I really felt her as a friend... And that is the magical and incredible thing about this masterpiece! Answering what you said, Phoebe did the first season in 2016, in the middle in 2018 she did season 1 of Killing Eve, and then in 2019 she came back with this season of Fleabag, only when she found there was something else to tell, when it made sense to do so. And I can't help but admire that, as well as her decision to end the series like this. Because It really can't have a more perfect ending, right? I applaud her for not extending this too much, something that could have ruined the essence of the series. Anyway, I already said a lot haha I really enjoyed your reactions man. I will continue to watch Orphan Black with you and I hope that at some point we will coincide with something else. But for now I ask you please to react to the cracks that are Fleabag and Killing Eve, these are hilarious 😁

Ya when we first meet everybody, it seems like she's the one who is looked down on and almost belittled, but at the end of it all, we see that she's a cornerstone of that tight knit family, (excluding the step mom lol) and maybe THAT'S why they treat her as they do because she's the one who can take it and help them out of whatever funk their in? idk... You know I guess I didn't think of it like that! I was just surprised at the gall of her! She can say she loves this man and didn't even remember his name!? lol but ya, looking back, it was definitely a choice PWB made as an inside joke! That is a nice way of looking at it, that Father Moriarty was able to allow Fleabag to open herself back up to love after Boo, the one she gave ALL of her love to, was killed by her own deception...I do like that. That is true, not only are we watching this woman, but she's bringing us in, treating US like friends and confidants, and at the end, she leaves us and it kinda makes us feel like we're saying goodbye to a friend, but not in a bad way, but like one that is moving to start a new and amazing job. We're waving goodbye, but we know she'll be alllllriiight lol Ya, she worked on both shows around the same time, that's astounding. The BBC really picked her up and said, 'Make Amazing' and she delivered! haha You would think there would be some phoning it in on any of the series, but they were each masterfully written and acted and I don't know how she did it! Awesome! I can't wait to read your manifestos in the Orphan Black comments! hahahahaha I was sent the links yesterday, and I think I'll do it for next Monday, because I'm kind of swamped with other shows and life right now, so I'm going to push Invincible back a week and do those cracked vids for Monday! (btw, idk if you knew, but Sandra Oh, Eve of Killing Eve is a voice on Invincible!!!) I'll see you on Friday!

@@DFQreacts I really wrote a lot and I forced you to do it too 🤣 It's just that there are series that I love so much that I can't help it, I'm sorry lol Fleabag and Killing Eve produce this for me. And it is great to be able to exchange opinions, to know the different interpretations that there are, this make the experience even better... I like Orphan Black but I honestly didn't get to love it this way, actually I watched the entire show only once. But you will see me out there with some comments anyway haha And, responding to the last thing you said, I had no idea that Sandra Oh was involved in Invincible, I knew about the series but honestly it's not something that interests me so I didn't pay much attention. I will wait for those reactions from the cracks, whenever you can, I just hope you are well. And thanks for always playing along with my extensive comments 🤣 you're the best ♥️

@@AGLadyBird You say as you DO IT AGAIN!!!! hahaha jkjkjk I love these long, well thought-out responses, because when it comes to Doctor Who, I do it too! so I know how much a show can fill you with intrigue, awe and excitement. John Barrowman said it best: 'Never apologize for being nerdy, because unnerdy people never apologize for being assholes' lol Ya, that's definitely why i fell in love with reaction videos, because, on the surface, it is just watching somebody watch TV, but when you get into it, you get opinions, theories and other insights into the show or characters that you may not have realized on your own! Art is subjective and these shows ARE art, so to get a different view is almost mandatory to get the full picture! Well, hopefully my enthusiasm and opinions will change the way you view the show? ART! lol Ya I was pleasantly surprised when I heard her voice I knew almost instantly! haha I've seen the first 4 episodes (months ago before I started Orphan Black lol) so I'll have to review them before I start editing lol But its a WILD ride! (Think of the classic Justice League cartoon, only rated R lol) thanks, Ladybird, and as always, I anticipate your next novel! haha

Hi, Dusty! It was great rewatching Fleabag with you. Too bad it is so short! I loved this ending! I do believe that she will have a great life, even with the amount of trouble she always gets herself in. I was a bit worried that maybe you wouldn't enjoy it as much as Killing Eve, but I was happy to see you laughing out loud of her jokes. What would you do if you didn't like it? Would you continue watching it? Have you ever start reacting to a series and hated it? I think people who look for reaction videos are usually fans of the show, so I guess they wouldn't enjoy seeing a guy making criticisms, right? But of course you would love Phoebe Waller Bridge, she is responsible for the tone and wit in Killing Eve. Now you can finally react to the crack videos of Killing Eve / Fleabag. They are the best! kzread.info/dash/bejne/q3V_xc6Sk8e7ips.html kzread.info/dash/bejne/fYxk2JqQpJa8ntY.html Let me know of you react to them! And let's prepare to Killing Eve Season Four! oh no...I had 4 long paragraphs all written out and KZread refreshed and I lost it...Escrever, Paty... I am so sorry! haha I will try to summarize, albeit shorter...DAMN! I HATE when YT does that!!!!!!! so far i haven't had a bad recommendation, my subscribers have impeccable taste! I'm sure if I did watch something i absolutely hated I would probably let you all know and probably finish off the first season at the very least for you. I was going to start Invincible next Monday, but I've been swamped with Doctor Who and the ending of Lucifer, so I might push it back another week and react to those KE/FB cracked videos! so look out for them! again, I'm really sorry if this comment seemed short and staccato, but I had so much written that just got lost and I wanted to be sure I fit in all the important bits! Thank you so much for joining me on this PWB train, and I hope you join me in the next show!
