Fiona Shaw (who plays the therapist) got an Emmy nomination for that single scene.

I love when she references the audience (us) to the therapist. Expanding the meta a bit.

It's also kind of sad. She feels like she has no friends except for us.

If you haven't watched Killing Eve then it's a must watch. Written by Phoebe Waller-Bridge. Also stars the actress who plays the therapist and she is iconic in it. ❤❤

Loved it
The son is basically a character that has severe mental issues but can see the very core and the very truth very easily So when he says tell her to leave him It's supposed to mean he understands how terrible the relationship is on deep level And he's also probably doing it out of genuine love for Claire Not jealousy

I agree. I believe he knows that there's a high chance he'll never see her again if she leaves his Dad. He doesn't hesitate or mince words.
Olivia Colman plays nasty so well.
Fun fact, Catholic priests weren't required to be celibate until the 11th century, and it was more for political reasons than religious ones. The Church in Rome had a lot of political power, and following the same family inheritance rules in the Church hierarchy as the nobility did concentrated power too much, leading to corruption and abuse. Also, oddly, men can get postpartum depression. Obviously it's not, uh, as common haha.
It’d be great if you could talk more about the episode at the end :(

"we have a Witch in the family. Isn't it wonderful? I was was the only one to see her for who she was, A frEEEEEak" she said calmly.
Interesting that the therapist in this episode is played by Fiona Shaw, who had a prominent role in another BBC series 'Killing Eve.' A series which Phoebe Waller-Bridge, who plays Fleabag was a huge part of the creative process helping to write & direct.

Great video! I do wish you guys would take some time after the video to talk about the episode and expand on your opinions! I'm always so interested to know what you thought about it after having watched the whole thing EDIT: to say I don't agree with other people in the comments saying you talk too much during the video (you talking and reacting to the episode is what makes your videos interesting), I just wish you talked more afterwards too!
I actually like that they brought up male post natal depression even if it was just a joke. Guys do go through it too and it does not get recognised enough.

Now that you’ve seen this side of Andrew Scott (the priest), you should definitely start watching BBC’s Sherlock!

Fleabag is what happens when you yak over dialog...
Just to jump on the band wagon, please do not talk over the dialogue. Or even during the show. For this specific show there are so many little things communicated through a simple glance that you guys are missing.
I don’t know why but I find this show so annoying, maybe because of how fast they speak or the constant 4th Wall breaking.
PLEEEAAASSEEEE dont chat during it like you did at the beginning, it won't be as interesting as what you are watching, and you could miss stuff.
I enjoy your reactions, although you do talk over the dialogue a LOT. Some things should wait until the end to discuss, but you do you.

Nope. It's said verbally here that the Priest is Catholic, and Anglican priests don't keep celibacy. The rites and vestments look similar, but on the celibacy thing they're very different.
