Flathead Ford Power Slots with the CNC Mill

Yes, Fiatnutz days. I found his channel years ago when I was working on the D16ZC engine. He always was holding a cool lecture about tips, tricks or just... 'doing it'. And his channel reached out over the sea. I wish I'd been able to let him know that. Rest in Peace.

I'm hoping up a model B engine can I power slot it like a flathead V8. I'm running a high compression head on it.
Doesn’t this lower the compression ratio a lot?

Somewhat, but I'm not sure how much since I have not measured the cc's of the material that I removed. This engine will have a 4" stroke crank installed with a 3.250" bore and use a set of high compression pistons and cylinder heads.
How much does this modification lower the compression ratio?

Not sure as yet because I have not cc'd the power slot volume. I have seen where flow volume more than makes up for compression loss.
