Thank you so much Masha, I've been doing macrame for almost 10 years and still did not know how to make these Alpha bracelets, I have had a special order after an almost year long pause and depression, so it was quite an empowering learning experience to make custom designs and learn how to weave "backwards" as I call it, as I have revamped my life. You've been part of this journey and great learning curve and for that I am forever grateful. Thanks for helping me step up my game sistar! All the love to you

Thanks for the color changing technique! I've already been doing the straight edges knots, but the color changing is super helpful and makes so much sense! I like to use tacky glue on my ends because I can stick them down in multiple directions. I've never had an issue with them coming through but I don't like the way they fuzz up without the glue, especially when you have a bunch in one place. I've also done key chains and reversible bracelets by stitching two alpha patterns together back to back!

@@Ghost-angy Yes I just tried it with my alpha and It worked perfectly. I did half of a knot of the color I wanted and then put the one that I want to hide to the side like in the video, but instead of doing it just for adding a color, I continued doing it until I changed color. From there just repeat

I always saw these beautiful Alpha-Patterns on Braceletbook but never actually tried them because I found them really intimidating. After my friend asked me yesterday if I could do this one particular bracelet I stumbled across your video on how to do Alphas and it helped me so much! I'm now about half way done and it turned out really neat thaks to the help of your tutorial! Thank you

I cut my unused lead string too. Before I cut though I use a double knot with a neighboring string to secure the strings.

Never knew this type of bracelet existed before... I grew up making string bracelets but have recently returned to this activity because of work (I run art groups with teen girls in a residential program). They love these bracelets so I have been trying out new patterns for them! This video was so helpful!! :)
