I will never forget 1986. The year my daughter was born, my first wedding anniversary and the year I bought my first home. Cherished memories. We were so young. If only we knew what was coming.

I graduated high school, junior college and started my bachelors degree, in '86. I wanted to grow up as fast as possible, for some dumb reason. I love the life I've led. But if I had to do it again, I'd slow WAY DOWN.

The super bowl score 46-10 was the only time in NFL history a game would have that score

I was 17 in 1986. Besides working a part time job, My time was spent smoking weed, drinking beer, listening to hard rock and thrash metal, and chasing girls. I remember the 80s very fondly.

I was 26 then, and remember everything about that year…the Challenger explosion still resonates to this day

The 80’s were a hell of a lot of fun. Somehow it seems we have been paying the price ever since tho 😉

My favorite year in my life. I was 20 and people I love were alive still. As well as a cat I still miss today.

I love watching about this decade. This was my decade and, in my opinion, the best one ever.

My favorite 80s year! That year at the age of 31, I became the Program Director of a Radio Station that I had listened to when I was in the 5th and 6th grade. I would do homework and day-dream of being a DJ.

The year 1986, was my first year of working for Kmart, which was owned by S.S.Kresge Company. I also remember doing inventory the old way. Which was pencil ✏and paper. Now, that Kmart and Sear's are now going out of business.I miss 😢Kmart and Sear's. I the programs that came out in 1986.

I went with some coworkers to lunch at the new Pizza Hut in town, they had small tv's mounted on the walls (a new idea back then), anyway, while waiting in line to order is when the news of the Challenger explosion broke. We were all stunned, the restaurant was silent with disbelief, it was a surreal moment for sure.

Turned 21 that year. Remember so many of these events. Hard to believe how fast the years pass.

A pivotal year for me. The first half was part of my 8th grade middle school year. The second was part of my high school freshman year. 1985 was "the year of the decade". 1986 was the year we now old Gen-Xers started slowly growing up. I remember every single thing this video mentioned.
