Sorry we didn’t let you know what was happening when you were bleeding the brakes Steve 😅. Well done on the job and the video. Looking forward to the next episode of trains, a plane and automobiles! 👍

Nice job Steve it's important to keep your brakes in good condition as they are handy things to have, the only job I wouldn't mess with on a car is brakes I don't know why because it's not difficult but and brake problems I always used to take the car to my local garage🤔 You seem to have plenty of various noisy things whizzing past your house mate but at least it isn't cruise missiles😱😂

Thank John! I think your right to leave a job to a pro especially if that’s your way of thinking then at least your mind is put at ease, I just love doing stuff like this although I must admit doing a hydraulic break pipe is more advanced mechanics I guess, I gave the pedal a good hard shove to ensure there was no leaks and that nothing blew apart that was with the engine running. Yes never a dull moment for traffic around my house, there is always something going on!

Hi Steve, another good video mate, having just replaced all four calipers on my wife's car because they were binding badly, this was good to watch. Always a pain when the camera doesn't focus on the part you want 😂, still, didn't matter. I did like the measuring method 😀, not high tech but it works, as you say, a piece of string would do. I was waiting for the bending method and it didn't happen 😂, i have done that before and taken a photo instead of a video, like would be so much easier if we weren't KZreadrs, but then we could share all this could we . Did you use a sort of mini bender or something else? , I'm used to bending 22, 15 mm and 8mm gas pipe but brake pipes are normally smaller, around 5mm I think 🤔 Cheers Steve 🍻

Thanks Pete, I use an old phone for recording usually but I think I used my new one which incidentally isn’t set to stay on the same camera mode when you lock the phone, that’s the trouble when you get used to something it’s frustrating as like you say it was a main point of the video. Believe it or not I just used a socket to bend the pipe round, I have since got some mini pipe bending pliers, I’m keen on trying these but I can’t foresee doing any break pipes for awhile I do have a couple of things coming up so that may change 😂 The pipe is 3/16 they still use old money, is around 5mm I think. Thanks for watching I’m sorry about the bending section, it’s so annoying when things don’t pan out on an important part of the video.
