I bet that decades from now the coming generations will regard FKA with a whole lotta respect and will in fact recognize her as an artist with a unique style & voice, a gifted precursor of a new quality in music and video-making of the early 21st ct. The exact same way we recognize Grace Jones nowadays for instance (for lack of a more criteria-fitting artist in mind, and I am sure it's not an overstatement). Her message may not be revolutionary, and the content, form and the way she carries herself (both as an artist and a private person) may not seem like it now as well, but trust me - the latter will surely change. And rightly so.

As a widow who lost not only my fiancée but my best of best friend, love of my life, soulmate too. Being with them made me feel joy, love and wholeness I hadn't felt since childhood.

She deserves more recognition she's been the best new artist for several years. People are sleep. She's choreographing she's directing her videos and her lyrics are just poetic.
