Great job! Of course, we can spot AG dolls a mile away!! Doll radar! I usually use a heating pad over stains and it helps speed up the stain removal process. 😊

You did a great job with her! I love AG restoration videos too. Her face is perfect! Can’t wait to see what else you do with her. That picture you showed of someone’s Grace with a blonde wig is awesome…hmmm. I currently have a bald Grace. 😉

When removing ink stains I use acne cream and put the doll in a windowsill with direct sunlight. I check on it every few days and reapply as needed.

You could also put plastic wrap over the spot to prevent it from dying out as fast!

Yay Emma. You did such a good job on new Grace’s hair. So pretty! You are very dedicated to removing those stains. If they don’t come off completely I wonder how Grace would look with tattoos? Just an idea. I also love making and watching doll restoration videos. Thanks for sharing with us. 🙏💕

Dad found Camille Willie wisher doll at goodwill complete in original meet outfit in perfect condition and payed just under 3 bucks for her. She's my favorite doll at the moment

I watched this a while ago but wanted to make sure I came back and commented before removing it from my Watch Later queue. Great job on her :)

Those stains just look like bruises now. 😉 I'm always bumping into things and aquiring random bruises, so I can relate with her. 😅 With the benzyl peroxide, I've just left the doll inside in a window (with everything except the stain covered). It can take longer that way I think, but it's also safer for the doll.

The Benzoyl Peroxide can take up to two weeks to remove stains from vinyl dolls. I enjoy doing some restoration. I am sure it is satisfying to buy a less expensive second hand doll and cleaning it up regardless of remaining marks. The bond we have with dolls is nurtured by the time we spend with them. However, the nice thing about American Girl Dolls is that if there are any remaining marks you can’t live with, the doll can be sent to the Doll Hospital to replace limbs, replace the whole body, etc.

I use 5% and take off magic Marker. It just needs to sit longer on the doll. I wait a week, wash it off check it and reapply it. It may take a while but you get it off. Blessings Just don't give up she is beautiful.

I love rubbing my dolls down with a magic cleaning eraser! Expect sometimes when I fix up old dolls I've had it happen before where they're so dirty that they leave dirty water behind.😭

nice job on Grace but since he stains bother you would you consider sending her to the doll hospital to replace her limbs. My Molly got die transfer from an off brand outfit and I lost faith with trying to remove the stains but I decided not to send her in because she is a pleasant company Molly and I don't ant her changed if that makes sense.

I definitely wouldn’t send her to the hospital I think within the next week the stain will be completely gone I’m like 90% sure. Since I paid so little for her and she’s a duplicate spending $40+ wouldn’t make sense unless she was a rare doll I definitely would !😊

Never tried on AG doll, but hand sanitizer usually removes permanent marker from most surfaces

Gurlllllll….i got a Julie for 12 bucks on eBay and when I tell you she was busted…she was bustttttTED. I’ve been trying to lighten her the same way accept with a heating pad and I’m over a week in. The ink stains on her legs are heinous. I want to find the child this doll belonged too originally and have a conversation. Causeeeee….how dare they.
