What a beautiful Kit!! I've heard so much about Coconut lately, but I was just aging out of the dolls during his prime time. He is precious and I am sad to have missed out back then. I'm collecting again as an adult and learning so many new things!

I'm so glad you got Kit and her meet, as well as the fun hat and Coconut. Everything is wonderful! I think the shoes you picked look great. Her meet shoes are quite often discolored and the shoes you picked are a nice bright white, which looks great. Congrats!

My first AG doll was Kit and was purchased at the Chicago AG store about 10 years ago. She was always my favorite. But just like potato chips you just can’t stop at one…I have since added more girls to my collection. Love them all. Enjoy your videos.

You are right: she is really ad❤rable, l❤vely. I know Kit's history and know that she is a brave and confident girl; how could you don't love her? If this doll is restored at the dolls hospital, I'd say that they made ad excellent work: she really looks as new!

kit was actually my first ever AG doll!! she is such a cutie and i am SO happy for you!! also: i am not sure if anyone ever said so, but all kits have that angled bob. her wig isnt uneven i promise LOL -- i like to pull it back with tiny claw clips!! theyre a really cute and relatively cheap alternative to rainbow loom bands. (i bought mine at michaels in the dollar section, but i am sure therye everywhere haha)

My Kit isn't in the best condition... she's going to be my AG Hospital experience. I haven't sent her in yet, but I live in Ohio, love writing and photography, my daughter's middle name is "Millie" after my Grandma Mildred, and have a basset hound myself... so she was destined with our family... and yes! I fell in love with my Kit's more slender face and longer wig... so she would just get cleaned up and new limbs since she has some dark marks on her... and don't worry about not having her original meet shoes fall off ALL. THE. TIME. Ha!!!

The tags aren’t always accurate for doll years. For kit, I think if you remove her head, there should be a shoulder tag with her production date.
