Fixing the Xt225 + Some Upgrades
Спорт
In this video, I fix up my xt 225.
The bike started to make a funny noise when I was in a certain gear. So I investigated and found a chipped tooth.
Anyway I had to remove the engine from the bike, dismantle it fix the problem with the transmission. Along the way I did some upgrades and showed some previous things I had done. I have painted the wheels black removed some of the electronics so I don't damage stuff like the head light, also to make it look better and to be lighter. I put yz fenders on and a klx110 front number plate. dmo foot pegs plus more.

Awesome job man, if you ever have to do it again it best to leave your clutch plates soaking in fresh engine oil over the time of the rebuild. 👌🏼

🔥🔥🔥
looking forward to your jump vid
gg nice
some I have learned is not to use screw riders to split cases, the screwdriver is a harder metal and you can ruin the gasket surface since it is a softer material. I recommend using a large plastic wedge that has a handle, it works really well
I watched the whole video and I wondered how long did it take you to do it. I noticed that you had had a haircut at some time during that time. If you don't mind me asking, What do you do as a day job? Great job on replacing that gear mate!🤘🤘🤘🤘
Skills.
this isn't a mall project vid.. but very informative
Thank you for the video. Wish you had included some extra footage in disassembly. Would it be possible for you to summarize some of the parts you replaced.
i watched the entire video from the begining to the end

Legend!
Love the videos mate! I have a 1999 Xt225, bike won't rev and dies completely when accelerating hard (more than half throttle) I've checked out the diaphragm accelerator diaphragm and cleaned both jets. Still having no luck. Any ideas?

Thanks! Man that sucks, only things I can think of is dirty air filter or your fuel filter is blocked up. I’m guessing you have already would have checked that. Also another thing to check if your valves are adjusted correctly
Wish I knew how make mine that good
hey nice video you must be pretty knoledgable with the engine now, very cool. would you jump it on your bicycle track? you think it would make it or just bottom out and fall apart? cheers

Yeah mate it’s good to see how it all works. I recon my bike jumps would be too steep to ride on this bike and it would bottom out.
Wait, great. Just how did you become that knowledged. Wish I was like you. I have a 225 xt and she does as she likes knowing I am helpless I can do like you. Kindly help me. Am in kenya
Is there anything you can’t do lol
Awesome video, how do you know what to do? Where did you learn

Bike looks sick! Keep up the work! I have the same bike and would like to make some of the same mods. Is the front fender and number plate from mid 2000’s YZ, too?
51:16 I also think the original clutch pedal is too short, do you know of another bike that is compatible and larger?
What happend to the motorbike track series cause I love it
