Amazing shoe restoration, a genuine work of art! If I own 4 different pairs of Bircks, and if any of them were in such a state of disrepair, I would have thrown them out and bought new ones. Now that I know how they can be resurrected, I want to ask: what are the real benefits of a repair/restoration as shown in this remarkable video vs. acquiring a new pair? Is it cost? The benefit of an insole and straps already shaped to one’s foot? Something else? Great video!
