It's not about the stuff you make Rosie, it's about you, defying your own perfectionism every single day. I admire the way you keep on challenging yourself, and growing from it. Not by making better stuff, but by learning to accept, and sometimes even embrace your own 'flaws'. You inspire a lot of people just by being you. Thank you for that!

here's an idea for your shelf doors to be able to block the window if you wanted. on one of the doors inside, you could add a thin piece of board to the back with hinges so when you open both up you have a third door that opens up and crosses the gap to the other door. And so that smaller "door" isnt flapping around you could recess magnets into both sides top and bottom and then on the other door. so you would need 6 magnets 2 you cut the thin door and recess into that then see where it closes, mark that position and recess into first door then open them all and close the gap and mark on the other side where the magnets sit and repeat the process

My beloved grandmother lived to a ripe old age. All my life she said that a person of character was compassionate with out being a push over. Was honest, especially to oneself without having to voice that to others. Obeyed the basics of society, don't steal, don't knowingly hurt others, etc. But never let society decide who you are at your core. Because then the world loses all the beauty and creativity of your unique being. She said that the most important thing she had built within was resilience Because that meant that you could change to fit the challenge so you would never be defeated by life's vagaries. As I have watched your videos I have admired your resilience.

That dress looks gorgeous! I really love the way it looks like you're wearing a little jacket over it thanks to the layers. It's a great look and I'm always so impressed when people have the skills to make their own clothes. The fabric looks super comfy as well and I really like the colour, though I do think it's hilarious that you bought it despite not liking orange. Congratulations that you got the waffle iron, though I'm not quite sure why it is so big (and why it rotates). I do love your realisation that you shouldn't deprive yourself of good things in your life just because you're "not supposed to" do XYZ. The great thing about being an adult is that you absolutely can have waffles any time you like. Enjoy the simple things in life and don't deliberately deprive yourself of joy. Life is hard enough without us making it even more so just to satisfy some imaginary judgmental audience.

You know, hippie dress is quite appropriate, I mean, you are living a "real" hippie lifestyle. Not the fake Instagram druggie-esque/Grateful Dead following/ hippie, but a real hippie who lives off the land, makes their own everything, is very conscious of the environment and their own footprint within the world. I am a child of the 60's and 70's, and I also try to live the same kind of life on my 3 acres in the country. You do it much better than I, but I'm sure your youthfulness (compared to my elderliness, LOL!) has much to do with it! This hippie admires all you are able to do and accomplish!

I don’t care what could have been done better, you are still an inspiration! Taking on the daunting task of a renovation all by yourself, in a foreign country to boot, says something about resilience and character. Your dress looks great and the colour suits you very well! 😊 As for the waffles… use a bit of butter on both sides of the iron. Despite being non stick , it does help with doughy foods . Once you figure out the waffle maker, you will be the local waffle queen of your region 😂. Life is too short not to enjoy things that make you happy!.

Hi Rosie, I hope that by the time you read this you haven't made a permanent decision for the dress closet. In order for you to use regular hangers, you might want to consider having very long pegs. Instead of a long rod. The pegs would be kind of sticking out instead of the normal way. I've seen old fashion closets where clothes are hanged against the wall. You can hang on one peg approximately 10 dresses. You can put as many as 3 pegs totaling 30 dresses altogether. Or 2 and leave a space to hang out of season coats and jackets. You can cover the closet with regular doors you will create. It's an option that you might live with and won't bother you.

Unless I'm misunderstanding you she was going to have two rods that came straight out from the walls, side by side so that the clothes would be facing you when you opened the closet, but she couldn't fit 2 hangers side by side. She will still have 2 rods that attach to the wall and come out side by side but use children's hangers (which made me cringe lol) the clothes will probably fall off

My unsolicited idea would be to not have the two pegs at the same height, but at different heights. So the hangers won't interfere with each other.

Not sure if you heard about Simone Giertz. But she is also a youtuber and due to kickstarter she succesfully managed to start manufacturing of her design of foldable clothing hangers, so they would take half as much width as normal ones. Seems like that could be some solution instead of children hangers, if that bothers you? I know they will be available to purchase in autumn on Yetch Store

Hey Rose, when your fruit trees are young is the best time to decide what overall shape you want... vase or central leader. Because your fruit will want to 'see' the sun to ripen, by pruning in the right shape means you will end up with fewer major branches, less overlapping branches and more fruit in the long run!
