I'm trying to find a happy medium with background music. Some of them go very quiet for a while too which doesn't help!

When that is happening something with second stage boot is wrong, I had two times same situation firs one was 3.3V regulator second was nand chip dead.

I've been seeing the same symptoms a lot lately, first logo stuck is every version type switches. My case was solved in the same way.　This seems to be caused by recent firmware. Something has been rewritten on the console.

glad to see it working, have seen retrosix do this, chuck in am mod chip to do some diags

Hey dude, thinking of soldering my own switch, it’s a v1 so I’ve heard the chip is relatively easy to install, I’ve soldered micro usb ports on before, is that enough experience to do this chip?

If your competent at soldering it should be easy, obviously the chips are small so some kind of zoom is helpful. Take a look at my other videos I have several on installing mod chips.

What do you think the chip did to fix it, im surprised.

Not sure, maybe gave it some kind of a kick start, maybe stuck in a boot loop? I would like to try it again on another to see if it fixes another

can you help me? i need help modding my oled, i heard putting a mod chip can help w/ the process, it would save me a whole lot of research and time, ive been wanting it since i got my first switch so i can play stuff and turn my switch into what seems to be a steam deck, if anyone can help me or just put the chip in without damaging anything, i will be forever grateful :D
