Hey Woby when I was seeing you recut the glued skateboards to thinner wood planks, they look like a cool tye dye design for a skateboard board. Maybe make one? Thanks!

I don’t know if you take suggestions but, mabye you could try making fingerboards out of recycled skateboards?

Great build ,looks fantastic, where can I get a Woby Design T-shirt? I’m in U.K .KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK 🙏🏻
Outside of building a stunning piece of art that you can actually ride, you showed some serious commitment and perseverance. We're so happy to be along for the ride! No pun intended 😁
I haven't started the video yet, but after seeing your Instagram about this bike, I assume half the video will be sanding 🤣😭💀
I don't know what was cooler, the finished bike, or the whole creation process. I find the creative solutions in your projects very interesting. And don't mind the haters, that's just envy of your ability. Congratulations Ben !! 👏👏👏

It's stupid
Dude! Such an epic build!! You've made me want a vacuum bag
Having followed this journey on IG, I can't imagine how relieved you are to have it done. All those Learning Opportunities (tm) you experienced are entirely relatable. You clearly have way more patience than me. Now that it's all said and done, the bike looks awesome. Even if you don't ride it, it's still a magnificent piece of art for the collection. Looking forward to what comes next! Thanks for sharing!
ive been planning on building a bike frame from plywood, and ive watched all the videos i could find. but this, this is next level. its stunning, its lovely, and i love it. i also have to add that there are not enough makers on youtube sponsored by and advertising for PPE products, and im super stoked you did. absolutely fantastic video my friend.

I 100% agree with your complete statement here. PPE is very very important, more important than the project itself, if you really think about it. Thanks for bringing attention to this issue, you rock 🤘🤘

While this is pretty it's not the best approach - if you're laminating a wooden frame you really want to work with individual veneers so you can orientate each layer in the optimal direction, and bend them where this gives greater strength/reduced bulk. This adds difficulty in design and construction - you'll need a system of formers and clamps that's more complex than you need with only flat pieces,.
Even though I will never work with skateboards, being a Quilter, I have fun watching this. We both use smaller and smaller materials to add back together to make something great. I make rag quilts out old jeans and flannel sheets. Thanks for sharing this video! Have a great day everyone!
This is the coolest thing I’ve seen you make so far, this is one of the coolest things I’ve ever seen. Period. Looked like quite the process, thanks for fighting through and capturing it all for us to be inspired and enjoy :)
Absolutely love watching you create and build this magnificent bike!
I actually stopped mid video and realised how much I was enjoying this, such a cool video but the filming, the editing, the music, it's all done perfectly! Great job
What a beautiful work of art! The quality of craftsmanship is incredible!!
AWESOME build!!!! Love the fact you show the mistakes as well, helps others avoid the same :)
love seeing the shop work so nicely for you with the folding stairs and sanding booth
Duuuuude. This is taking it to the next level. Congrats! And showing the mistakes humanizes the whole process and adds to the story. Thanks for this quality entertainment.
Wow - good perseverance pushing through! I loved learning about all you do to prep the wood - that's a lot. Woooo!
Freaking LOVED this build, dude. Sending it to a buddy of mine because I know he’ll enjoy it as a bike/skateboarding/art enthusiast.
Really cool build. It's great seeing how effective your new shop is setup. I also recently bought an RZ mask. They are really great. The 3m ones I had always felt gross after wearing them for a bit.
Thanks for persevering. Stunning result!
Man this guy is so passionately in love with what he does leave alone the mistakes the project itself is just amazing
The colors are amazing, it looks modern and vintage at the same time.
Thanks for taking us through the good and the bad. Definitely learned more and it gives the bike more worth with all the time poured in.
Man I kept up with this build step by step through your IG stories. What a wild ride it’s been haha. Super impressed with your build, perseverance, and final video man. Keep up the great work.
Amazing project, Ben! 🔥
Absolutely amazing. Hopefully you get great use out of it for many years to come my friend. Can't wait to see more videos soon Ben. Keep up the great craftsmanship and hard work my friend. Keep making. God bless.
Nice build! I made some wooden bikes too but using different design constructions. Working with wood as material for a bicycle frame is a bit tricky since is not so stable as metals or composites. On your next frame for light up, you can carve some internal pockets on the tubes e reinforce it with 1 or layer of #200 glass fiber to avoid delamination on plywood layers. Your shop is very nice!
Fantastic work!! It may be heavy, but it is beautiful. And the most important thing: you made it yourself. Congratulations!
Bike looks sick, a lot of work and special tools, more than that, patience. I did enjoy the content. Cheers.
This is why you are successful in what you do, you know that you make mistakes but you learn from them. Once you identified those mistakes you corrected them and continued to move on. Keep doing what you're doing and continue to be an inspiration to others.
Awesome film. Superb editing and story telling. Bike is a work of art. Priceless. There should be a name for this process. Painting has terms like "pointillism" and "drip technique." This process needs a name to honor the effort required. Just thinking out loud. Mahalo for sharing! : )
You made a bike!!! that's bloody brilliant, love how it looked and great to hear it handled well too. Proper Job
this build is insane. i personally like the touch of the bolts able to be seen, it gives it a cool industriable vibe
Awesome build!! I love the bike itself and all the process!! Cheers.
Cracking design and production. Excellent job, well done!
Amazing build and amazing video, you really know how to keep a video interesting. That half an hour just flew away.

Looks cool but given the wood and resin properties im pretty sure its worst of both worlds. Heavy as Steel and and not great torsion values. Then again given its not a race bike - who cares.
Always pushing to the next level! Well done!
The fading colors and the bike looks so cool. Frame design is great👌🏻
watching your vids and you making stuff is just a vibe, love it! keep it going!!
Dude, you're insane. I just found your channel and have been binging it for hours. Keep up the good work.
amazing art piece and craftmanship
keep up the great work Woby its always great seeing your new creations with recycled materials. look forward to your next post.
Been eagerly waiting for this cool build👏
Dude, the bike looks so damn amazing!! I can totally understand all the frustration over the mistakes that have been made, but building something only a handful of people have ever done before requires so much thought-process, that mistakes are inevitable 😅 - I think you can be more than proud of yourself with the amazing endresult! Great project, great video! Looking forward to the next one 😉👍🏼
This video was very refreshing, has a good energy. Bike look great, but I must say, it is a pretty smart layout of your shop.
Top level design. To level execution. Respects.
Dude. Whoa. What a journey. Hey, glad you're recovering. Hey, that bike is sweet!
Aside from the amazing bike (great job with it!!), i love the space efficiency of your workshop👍
Congratulations! Amazing work!!!
This video is incredible. Cool to see the mistakes as well. Thanks for sharing.
I really respect your talents and honesty about your mistakes. The bike came out amazing! I just subscribed and I'm going to binge watch your channel for a bit
Really cool I like the random colors. Nice job thanks for sharing 👍.
Such a cool bike ! I love seeing artwork thats made to use 👍
masterfully done. definitely the coolest fixie out there
The finishing process looked so painful but that thing is TIGHT.
Long time coming and worth the wait
Truly inspiring!! Amazing concept and exection.
I've watched it with my jaw dropted on the floor. This is an examle and proof, that humans brain potential and imaginations are unlimited. your skills are amazing and the bike itself is a masterpiece. Also its one of the most beautifull thing I've ever seen in my entire life and one my dreams now... I am speachless and amazed! bravo!
Your perseverance is truly inspiring. How many times did I make big mistake, know how to fix it, but just walked away from the project because I was so frustrated by it 🤣🔫
good stuff mate. love seeing how your brain works through this process.
Beautiful bike man. Pleasure to watch.
Insane job Ben!! Very well done.

Really enjoyed your video. First time viewer and enjoyed it all. Thanks for posting.
Incredible work, first time ive saw your videos but subscribed.
this is your first and only bike ! :) this is a dream man ! good work
So much work, i love the results
This is sick! Imagine going to a bike shop to get it serviced. This should be hanged to an art gallery or something.
Bro this has got to be one of the coolest inventions I have seen. As a skateboarder myself we are in constant battles with the bicyclists. I think you just invented the middle ground to our war. Wicked bro just wicked
Man I’ve been waiting for this
Awesome. My deepest respect for the result.
The De-Gripping tool!!! Genius.
It's great to have you back again, I went so long without watching your videos I started to correctly pronounce the word 'epoxy'
Nice result bro, well done... 👍
One of the coolest things my eyes have ever seen. Well done bro 😎
Great job on planning out the project bro 😎
Amazing. A lot people don't understand wood bikes but they must be the most comfortable bike you will ever ride, all bumps are absorbed by the frame instead of travelling to the rider. Its like a full suspension bike but your not loosing power with each pedal rotation. Gonna check out the masks out, I always end up removing mine instead of my goggle as having something in my eye was no fun. Luckily it was alloy and not iron or it would of rusted my eyeball. The optometrist said they use a small grinder to remove the rust. I didn't believe him but you can actually watch videos of the operation on KZread. Great content thanks for sharing.

I've had bits of steel removed from my eyeball (twice, so I didn't learn the first time, although I was using PPE both times). The tool they use is basically a small burr in a Dremel - when it's chewing your eyeball everything goes wobbly as it moves around. :-)
Pretty cool project man! Very creative!
Great job as always!
This bike rips ! Congrats man
That bike looks freaking amazing great work dude. Also you got some serious skills looks like you have ridden a fixed gear for a bit.
Amazing build!
I'm amazed and impressed love the idea and even more the execution :)
Thats awesome. Im planning on a similar build out of cheap laser cut plywood. Might have been a good idea to start with that as a tryout; so you dont find yourself sweating it as much with your hand-crafted labor intensive skateboard material.
glad to see u posting again so soon, keep up the grind big dawg
lol, my wife and I also ate at All'antico Vinaio in Florence and thought that was the best sandwich we've ever had. Cool trip!
Incroyable, tu as vraiment un talent une motivation et une joie de vie fantastique !💙 Ton travail et la manière dont tu le réalise est juste splendide !
SWEET BIKE - NICE WORK!
sickest bike out there! what a masterpiece
Love it, great video. I'm super impressed how you made this bike. Dope man.
This is awesome, I can totally see you build a road aero frame.
Siiiick project man, you're a g skidding w/o straps!!!
Beautiful! Well done!
Beautiful bike. Great job
Amazing you just mixed my two biggest interests wood working and bike thanks for the great video
