my problem is that im trying to run a game but it requires the version 4.7.2, I have the recent version which is 4.8.1 but i've been trying to go back to 4.7.2 but cant, any help? im always getting the problem (.NET Framework 4.7.2 or a later update is already installed on this computer.) i've tried uninstalling and reinstalling and it didnt work, ive tried everything and nothing worked.

Repair Tool didn't work for me.. Program Features and doing what you said didn't work either.. So the question is what is the answer... I don't blame you I think you are a very good at what you do Brian. I like many have the same problem and its not going away soon. The error I got was 0x80070643. This is in Windows 10.

did you ever get a solution?

i cant open it i dont understand, i tried restart computer still same issue it wont open after downloaded it, in task manager kept being running then suspended repeately and all on the right side says not allowed after 10min it finally started when ran it seemed it did find somethings but it wasnt able to fix em

Is it suitable for Windows 7?

@@frincessviterbo9506 I contact Microsoft support and they solve it for me. They told me to download windows media installation tool and follow more steps then the problem gone.

I try to run discord, it says something about net framework 4.0. I installed it and my pc said its already downloaded. tried everything except reinstalling windows since i dont know if it will delete everything off of my pc.. I also didnt try uninstalling .NET framwork.
