What breaks me most is seeing how badly the drugs are affecting him, yet he's still doing everything he can to shrug it off.

If Fives had somehow convinced Anakin and Rex about the chips I feel like Anakin wouldn’t have betrayed the Jedi and become Darth Vader :/

Yeah, at that point in time he still was triggered by slavery. He would see Sidious as just another slave master. Wouldn't surprise me if he'd decide that Padme was better off dying in whatever visions he had than to live under Sidious's thumb.

Always kept me thinking, why didn't Fox just stun him? Rex used stun-mode to takedown a lot of his brothers during Order 66 while in active combat with Ahsoka, so there's no reason why Fox couldn't.

The Coruscant Guard, or shock troopers, seemed like Palpatine's personal legion of clones. They guarded the capital and didn't seem to be as close to the Jedi as other clones were. For instance, when Palpatine retrieved Anakin's burnt body he was accompanied by shock troopers. Fox was likely in on it or received personal orders to terminated Fives without knowing Palpatine's true intentions for giving that order.

Palpatine gave direct orders to set to kill not stun, convincing the guard and fox that fives was too dangerous to be kept alive, they did not know why he was a threat tho, Good soldiers follow orders

@@jordanfrielingsdorf4761 yeah we learned in The Bad Batch the emperor had the type of clones that’d kill their own brothers so it’s not impossible

If fives didnt put up the ray shield he would have been taken to the jedi temple, where he would have been able to tell the jedi about everything.

A ray shield only blocks things like blasters.

I hate Anakin here. He is so sure that Palpatine is the good guy, he didn't even think what Fives said. He got angry to Fives pretty fast.

Because palpatine groomed him from a child. He looked after him and watched over him, so anyone who spoke ill of his mentor and friend was wrong in his eyes.

That dialog between Rex and Cody from Season 7 is out of context (They were talking about the chance that Echo survived). With that said, I like how you edited it to make it seem like Rex was telling Cody about the inhibitor chips and what Fives said about Palpatine's plot to kill the Jedi.

I think everyone disliked this because there was no reason for it to end the way it did. Even if you didn't think he was drugged and just crazy, that didn't mean he hadn't come across important information. But, then there's the fact Force adepts can easily sense when someone is drugged or something...
