Who else read Lords of the SIth novel written by Paul S. Kemp? Makes me wonder... 😬 It takes place 14 BBY I believe tho and with the Bad Batch we're probably still in the 19-18 BBY range.

thats why i was shocked to see him get sniped. he appears in the beginning of the book meeting vader and sidious in sidious's office. Furthermore vader kills hera's mum in the ending or something right? or was it chams associate?

@@benedictdsouza4520 Cham's associate/girlfriend, they never really said what happened to Hera's mum in the book just that she was gone. Also there's a chance Taa is alive, Rampart specifically said attempted assassination. He could of had Crosshair go for a low power shot and it is implied by the plate in Bane's head that he survived a headshot so why not the the Galaxy's fattest twi'lek? Just something I heard someone mention, really reaching but who knows.

It would have been cool if Moff Mors and Colonel Dray would have appeared too or at least would have been mentioned Dray and Rampart even share similar traits, I think they would get well each other, they are both cold, ambitious and calculating young officers, but Rampart is calmer and somewhat smarter Dray is more sneaky, backstabbing and unstable

Cham wouldn't be loyal to the Empire. Cham wouldn't be even a good ally. If you read the canon novel Lords of the Sith, you could see how he manipulated and played Colonel Belkor Dray (who literally ruled Ryloth by then) who even gave informations to Free Ryloth (of course he wasn't on their side he wasn' t even a 'good guy', he 'helped' Cham because he wanted to get rid off from his superior Moff Mors who was a lazy shit leader and Belkor thought if he helps Free Ryloth, it will destabilize the planet and Moff Mors will be kicked out, so he can be the new Moff) Cham literally used this Belkor guy against the Empire, he blackmailed him that he will reveal everything about his help to Free Ryloth if he won't do what Cham says.. When it turns out that Belkor has to help to assasinate Vader and the Emperor, he wants to get out from this whole shit but it was too late... In the end Belkor slowly lose his mind and when Mors realized his betrayal, he was executed anyways. Cham Syndulla didn't give about a shit about he literally destroyed the Colonel as he sent him to a situation where he couldn't win at all. So this happen if you side with Cham and you are an Imperial. So Rampart actually made the good decision, he was smarter than Colonel Dray who thought he manipulated Cham meanwhile Cham was who manipulated him.

I feel sorry for the clone troopers. They were treated like tools of war by senators, seen as a waste of credits by citizens, and as living war machines by their enemies. And what happens when the war is over? Either a forced retirement or becoming a training officer to new stormtroopers. No chance to redeem themselves as a whole. Rex and Wolfe may be seen as heroes of the Rebellion, but most clones would still be remembered as Imperials. Nobody would know about the control chips, nobody would know of their lives before the war or how terrible it was for them. And there wouldn’t be anybody in power to address this. From what I can tell clones and the people who worked with them never had any high positions in the New Republic and there also wouldn’t be much motivation to try and educate people on the lives of the clones since there wouldn’t be anymore of them. No Kamino, very old clones, who in the New Republic would fight for them. The Jedi are able to bring themselves back, the Separstists as flawed as they were are also thought of to have been right given what happened, even battle droids are still used in the New Republic Era. Clones on the other hand never get their chance as a whole for redemption. I can imagine the New Republic making a memorial for Alderaan and Geonosis, planets wiped out by the Empire. But Kamino isn’t well known by most people and nobody wants to honor people who fought on the opposite side of a war, especially if it was for an empire. I wouldn’t be surprised if in New Republic textbooks Rex and Wolfe barely get a mention. The era of the clone troopers and Kamino to the larger galaxy was a short one, one that nobody alive in the New Republic would care to remember, just dust under the rug.

@@granalmirantethrawn2972 The clones are unfortunately not good by nature. Their original nature is to follow orders with out question an idea instilled and drilled into their heads since birth. The reason we see so many heroic clones is the influence of the Jedi. A good example of clones without the jedi's influence is the Coruscant guard brutal direct and unquestionably following orders. It honestly makes almost no sense for him to defect so soon in the first place.
