    I didn't exercise for a while and they came, I also ate more meat. I praise Jesus Christ that I am able to bare a child but I praise Him more for the fact that I have no children...

    hey love! i stopped working out/going to the gym, but still continued to practice yoga regularly! (my mother thinks that the strength training i was doing was too intense for me) i also increased the amount of healthy fats in my diet (avocado, seeds/nuts, nut butters, etc.) and i still ate a mostly whole foods/plant-based diet but i was A LOT more laid back and ate more treats than usual during december/january because of the holidays aha, so i just listened to my body, ate intuitively, and didn't restrict myself (i never counted calories or macros). i think the key is to not stress yourself over exercise or food and make sure you're eating and resting enough!! best of luck, sending all my love xo

    AG gang I didn’t excersise at all apart from just walking, and I ate whatever I wanted and ate a lot of healthy fats like avocado, nuts, oils, milk. It took me about 3 months and I ended up gaining 5 kg but I don’t even look any different so don’t be afraid to gain a bit of weight! Good luck 💗

    @@wedjylouis3164 yes, after seven months, I got it back. I'm so thankful with God. I prayed with all my heart and next month it was back and I also started eating more calories and more carbs. I now also gained weight thank God. Without God, I don't think this would have been possible, as I was losing a lot of weight week by week. God gave me the courage and took the depression and axiety from me. No matter if u are Christian or not, just believe in Jesus Christ, in his name God will heal you as He healed me.

    After wanting to lose weight and successfully doing so, I got myself stuck in a rut of restriction and probably undereating. I can happily say I've just had my first period in around 4 months. Trust me everyone worrying, increase your calories and it will come back !! You can do this ❤️

    This is what im going to start doing, I'm going to increase my calories to at least 2500-2800 and eat lots of nuts, seeds, avocado, salmon and I'll also make sure i get enough vitamins including B12, probably do some yoga poses and add or drink many spices like cinnamon, turmeric or ginger

    I stopped my restriction but I have depression and anxiety tendencies I havnt been diagnosed but I sometimes cry about myself more than three times a week and I always have something on my mind so my hormones are out of wack! I also can’t fall asleep until about 2 am but I have to wake up at 6 am 😖🔪

    put your focus and attention elsewhere. Find something that will "distract" you and bring you peace. The less stress over it the better!

    My cycle became irregular after a hernia treatment; treatment was numbing the nerve that was hurting from the hernia by the use of corticosteroids injected into my back. Before this my cycle was very regular. After the treatment at first I was having my period all the time, then it completely stopped. I got it back from being prescribed some hormones.these worked right away! I was so happy to get my period back; that may sound weird but I feel it's a part of my life and even with the cramps and everything, I really missed it and I'm glad it's back. It's like I'm back living on the waves of my cycle. Thanks very much for the video, it's good to just talk normally about these things.

    Ah.. so my period gone for 4 months cause of "Sleeping late". i been staying up so late everyday and didn't even care about my period. now i guess i better change my sleep time. (I alway sleep like midnight or 1-2 am T^T) i have a little of stressed. and i think i don't get enough calories too. (Sometimes i skip breakfast and don't eat lunch) Thank you for your tips! it help me alot, hopefully i got my period back soon :D❤️

    After 3 months of exhausting exercise (and caring too much about what i eat and how many calories and all that stuff) and not having a period I decided to stop exercising this hard for one month added more fats in my diet (I didn't care much to be honest if I ate one whole avocado and 2 tbp of nut butter , shredded coconut in my oatmeal at the same day) . So after one month I got my period back and.. it feels great to know that I'm healthy again (all this time I thought I was healthy but that's not true) . Please don't stress yourself and EAT as much food as you want and don't be afraid of healthy fats JUST DON'T . I wanna thank you for giving us all these important advices that we need to keep in mind if we want to stay healthy and for the motivation .

    i was freaking out and worrying that something was like drastically wrong with me, and now i think i know what i was doing wrong. i am naturally really skinny, and recently, since caronavirus, my eating has been way out of whack, bad food, then i started eating realy healthy food, but not enough of the necessary protien and stuff. ima try doing that, and excercising lightly, to some extent, and well see what happens. hopefully i get healthier and needless to say, i am so glad that i am not the only one who goes through this, because i thought i was, and that was freaking me out

    I did lost my period during highschool for a year. I was struggling with my exams at school, wanted to score the highest in my class so I almost had no time to eat properly. Most of the time I skipped meals to study more. I stress level was so high, also the pressure from my family was enormous. At the end of school year I weighed 43 kilos. I liked to not have periods but then the reality hit me hard. It wasn't healthy. I maybe had permanent damage. Thankfully that wasn't the case. Slowly I ate more and more. So after 14 months I got my period back. I remember crying when I saw it. It is a part of me and I am grateful for getting it back.

    I haven't had my period in 4 months and 2 weeks and im kinda scared that somethings weird, this video helped thank you. But I always gets cramps but never gets it, its so enoying and stressfull to go to the toilet and then nothing is there.

    I started mine about 4 months ago, then it stopped about 2 months ago. It just came back on the 3rd month of it being gone. Reading all of these comments with the same issue makes me feel better, thought something was wrong. I think it might have been stress though, even though I'm still pretty stressed.

    yes, stress/anxiety are definitely high reasons for period loss! There are plenty of ways you can reduce your stress level. Try to incorporate relaxing "me time" each day for 15-60 minutes OR 1 full rest day each week, so that you can do whatever you love to do that makes you happy/chilled out/brings you joy! (go get a massage, read a book, get your nails done, go to the park for a picnic, spend the day with a loved one, have a hot bubble bath, try yoga or meditation, draw, paint, sing, dance etc. the possibilities are endless!!)

    Marie Claire Mampinda it’s not a laughing matter I told my friends I lost it but lied about how long it’s been missing and they just said I was lucky!🤬I said it was 3 months but in actuality it has been over 8 months and I recovered from multiple ed’s and am in recovery from a different one now.

    I am 33 years old never start my period, they did put me on birth control and I was having bad headaches and being too emotional and I stop for least 8 years, I not against having kids I love kids and would love have some day. And I know it could not be healthy not be on the pill, but I like your tips on what to ear and drink and what not to drink or eat that might not help my hormone level.. Thanks I I try it!

I don't think I have any ED (I just eat a lot everyday) and I only do soccer which isn't as intense as a gym workout so I don't know what's wrong...And when you said carbs and fats, do you mean a having a meat diet or what other kind of foods have healthy carbs and fats?     I only ever recommend a plant-based diet for optimal health, so whenever I talk about food it is PLANTS 👍 You want to be eating whole plant foods for best health!

    Thank you for sharing all of these tips! I have not had a period since April 2019, so around 16 months. It's been exhausting, isolating, and anxiety-provoking. I follow a whole foods plant-based diet, but for some reason, I'm still nervous to increase my calories and decrease my exercise. I'm at a healthy weight, and everyone keeps telling me how good I look.

    Thanks for the tips. I haven't gotten my period since I went vegan but I lose it pretty easily. I have had amenorrhoea on and off since my teens. I have an underlying health problem (pancreatic insufficiency and colitis) which doesn't help. I think my problem is not enough fat so I'm going to try to increase. I think I went too low fat when I came to a vegan diet. It's because of my health problem I don't digest fats well so I had been trying to control the symptoms with very low fat. But because I absorb it poorly I'm probably getting even less, oops. Will try it out and see how I get on 😊

    if you just got your first period, its perfectly normal for it to be irregular as your body is still getting used to the whole process, it happened to me, I dont think you need to worry ❤

    i have never had an eating disorder, i became vegan over a year ago and i have had my period a couple times within it but it is not regular. i definitely do not restrict and my period has been irregular my whole life even before i went vegan, i don’t know

    how many years have you had your period?? If you are young and only have gotten your first ever period then this is some what normal. However, if you are in your late teen's/early twenties, then this is not healthy and you could have a serious problem. I suggest go see your doctor and get your blood work done!

    I eat a plentiful vegan diet (and i eat A LOT as a competitive athlete) but nothing seems to be working! i eat almost 100% whole foods. the problem is that I can’t decrease my exercise because I have practice everyday. Any advice? I feel so full all the time and should be eating enough to gain those calories back. I also sleep a lot. At this point, I’m running out of ideas

    Number 4 is super relevant. I have very severe chronic illness and it destroyed my sleep. I have pain. Trying to get it fixed as I cannot eat without feeling sick. My periods late and last month too. I had a low protein intake and I wonder is that the cause. I like to walk and run. Its hard because Ive been accused of mental illness which is why I am still sick. I am not expecting an answer just yet I just got to hope. Every day that I cant eat is another severe restriction. I just drink protein shakes and have soup. It cant have much fat it it as I am too sick to eat it. I will take on board the ten per cent tip though/

    I've gotten my period a few months after 2020 started and it started to flow each month but it's like after that month and it would be confusing and I havent gotten it in months.. I used to have a lot of pressure and stress and I dont have it anymore but I think it might be because of my weight.. since I feel like I've lost a lot of weight ever since my stress and pressure started.. and also school work..     the time it takes to gain your period back is different for everyone. it depends on how long you haven't have it and how much damage you've done to your body. It can range from a few weeks to a few years! The more consistent you are with these tips the faster it should come back

    I asked my sister for this and just said I might be pregnant. Lol they don't effin trust me and so do I though. I haven't been having my period since 3 months after my mom's death.     6 months ago, I started exercising vigorously on a daily basis (at first even in the middle of my fasts), restricting my calories and all of that and my period has been irregular ever since. So after realizing the damage I’d caused to my body, I’ve decided to eat intuitively (eat whenever I’m hungry and stop when I’m full) and started reducing my exercise intensity and frequency (to 30 mins jogs and occasionally 15 min workouts). I will start adding more fats into my meals and making sure I’m sleeping well. Will that be enough to get my period back, or do I still have to actively increase my calories and/or decrease exercise even further to the extent of gaining weight? (Because I’m currently happy with the body fat percentage I’m at now...)

    increasing you calories is actually most important! making sure you are fueling your body appropriately is KEY! I recommend 2000-3000 cals for average women

    I got my period at 9 1/2 years old and am 12 I went through anorexia for about a little over half a year. It only lasted 7 months and in no way am I saying I had the worst but I lost sooo much weight that I lost my period the second month in. It’s been almost 8 months and my development was delayed I was always developed a little more than average but now I feel left behind since all my friends say they got it at 10 or 11 and now I’m crying in my room!!!😭😫

    Hey, great video! I have PCOS and do not remember the last time I had my period naturally. I think it’s been years. I hope this will help. Talking about sleep, I actually feel a lot more sleepy than everyone around me. I sleep for over 8 hours everyday. Some days it gets extended to 9-10 hours. Is it healthy? If not, what can I do to sleep a little less and stay active through the day?

    I have this same problem, last year I didn't get my period for a year then I got it, this year I went full vegetarian and I haven't had it for around 4 months. I sleep at least 9 hours, then by the afternoon I already get tired.

    Actually for me it's one year almost that I didn't cane back my period but after a long time I visit a doctor and he gave some medicines and then in five days I got my period back and It continued for eight days at first and I have stomachace I was crying as it hurts too badly and the doctor said it's because I didn't come period for one year.     I'm 16, I weigh 97 pounds, and I'm 5 foot 3 inches. I've struggled and still kinda do, with anorexia. I've still NEVER had my period. I'm very frustrated! Because I've read that you have to stop working out. This seems almost impossible for me to do! Because I LOVE working out. So I NEED help, because I'm 16 almost 17, and still have not had a period.

    I'm on a calorie deficit to loose weight. I've lost 11pounds so far. But I'm now eating 1800 calories a day. I was have periods in the first couple months,but this month I have missed my period. I'm 7 days late today,with negative pregnancy tests. Could a calorie deficit be the culprit ?. I'm also vegan to 😊 x

    this is very different for everyone! it depends how much damage you've done to your body + how consistent and patient you are with your healing. It could be a few months to a whole year!

    Ah thank you so much for the video, I recently just lost 15 pounds 4 months ago and have never been this weight in my entire life (I’m a teen) I was usually slightly overweight but became lean those past months, I have been missing my period for those past 4 months and during those 4 months I became depressed out of the blue twice ( this was the first time I had ever experienced depression) and right now I’m currently recovering from it but have had no appetite for the past days. I was in track months ago and most likely my period disappeared due to harsh exercises, I’m recently doing bootcamp which is also another form of cardio but now I have stopped. I was just wondering if not having your period can cause depression because ever since I have been missing my period, I have had emotional issues and would start crying out of the blue as well. I want my period back because I miss it and without it I haven’t been functioning well mentally.

    Luv Lee Ik this is an old comment but I still thought I could help. It sounds like you’re suffering mentally from lack of nutrition/calories, not necessary caused by lack of period. Both period loss, and mental problems can be caused by poor nutrition. I am not a dr however, and I recommend you see a doctor. I wish you all the best🤞🤞❤️

    Need to try these things out. I had a very healthy and regular period but when I went vegan it just disappeared :( I know I’m doing something wrong but I’m not sure what I am doing wrong. I didn’t have it for 3 months and then it came back and now it’s been another 3 months of nothing :( just concerned for my health and my ovulation as even though I am young my dream is to have children and I am so worried something I am doing wrong in my vegan diet is going to prohibit this.     Sophie Jayne I’d suggest supplementing with Iron and B vitamins, particularly B12. Both are essential in making blood in the body. Unfortunately these vitamins are not available in an absorbable form in the vegan diet. Best wishes ❤️

    Hello, you are so nice:) I love your videos! I am getting a bit worried about my period. It is already 8 months since it stopped. It was because I've been dieting And excericising a lot. I also had too low levels of iron. For 5months now I eat 2200+kcal, sleep a lot, trying not to stress. I eat 50g+ of fat everyday. My hormone levels are good and my iron is good too. I do not do so much excercise too. Really don't know what Is wrong. :(

    Any tips on how to get your body producing estrogen and progesterone? I’ve been suffering from irregular periods, because of being on the pill so long, my body after 10 months off the pill, is still barely producing these on its own. I’ve been to the dr, we’ve been trying some different things, nothing is consistently working though 😕

    Meditation suprising has helped me but you can try carrots, grains and other foods too. I usually set an intention when meditating and it happens a few days later. It is just like ordering food, it's that simple. I also like to add, forgive your self and your body. You didn't know that birth control would do this, it's great that you have became aware of this. I hope you get your period back :)

    I've been IF for over a year and have had a perfect regular period and healthy hormones all this time. You can certainly have a regular period whilst IF. What's most important is that you are eating ENOUGH, and eating nutritious whole plant foods 😎

    If some people are required working in shift time, they are really not enough sleeping at night. How can treat it? If lacking of sleep, is there required eating more calories to compensate the expenditure? I haven't enough sleep due to working at night and back home about 11:00-12:00pm and made me the period lost as well as underweight. May I know what time are you sleeping and wake up? But I can't quit my job as I am doing shipping's nature of jobs which requires us to over time job. Please let me your comments! Thanks !

    I suggest start tracking your calories to know for sure how much you're eating. More often than not, you will find out that you Think you are eating a lot, but in reality you are NOT eating enough. All the best! xx
