#Postpartumfoods We have all heard about the first 40 days being so important post delivery. The diet, sleep & a lot of good love & rest. I was grateful that I had my grandmother come over & take care of my diet strictly.
And here I am sharing some of the postpartum diet foods that I almost ate daily
1. Simple freshly cooked Rice & moong khichdi with pepper & jeera tadka with ghee. Nothing else. It's heavenly and so so soothing for your body!
2. My grandmother ensured I ate 1 tsp of Roasted Ajwain Powder everyday in the morning. Ajwain helps in digestion and especially reduces gas in babies that is so common. If you have a baby with colic, then make sure you pop in some ajwain and breastfeed your baby. You'll see a difference :-)
3. Dry Fruit Laddoos & Panjiri - A delicious recipe made with roasted dry fruits, ghee, jaggery. Such a wonderful treat for the body. Rich source of fats for you & the baby. Fats are extremely important for a good brain development
4. Ragi Mudde / Ragi Ball - As a south Indian, I worship this recipe. It reduced all my knee & back pains as soon as I consumed this regularly :-)
5. A glass of warm milk - We were fortunate to have a little farm close by and got good quality desi milk. I enjoyed a warm glass of milk every night. Again quality is important, you can skip this as needed.

Madam south me bachche nahi hote hai? Kya c section nahi hota hai? Ha white rice nahi boiled rice khana chahiye... Ham south me white rice daily basis per nahi khate hai. Boiled rice (red rice) khate hai
