I absolutely love how the artstyle and animatronics play on what was actually popular at their peak and what animatronics actually looked like. Not nearly enough FNaF and FNaF-aligned content plays on how they actually work and what they were like.

Fun fact for everyone that sees this: The whole Five Nights at JR’s actually can be really canonical and fits into the main timeline of FNAF due to there being a location that William Afton tries to get into known as JR’s. This place is seen in a later FNAF game where Afton is restricted from going into a location called JR’s (most likely because he wanted to test the whole kid-possessing-animatronics more). This fan game is a nice addition to everything else existing into the timeline, and patches up some rougher areas of the timeline, whether intended or not…

This game is definitely true to the original tone of the series, lasting from the first game to the OG novel. It manages to feel very grounded and self-contained for that reason. The main series kind of lost that touch after Sister Location was incorporated into it, rather than remaining as a spinoff as originally intended. This is despite Sister Location on its own being good.

@@jammo7370 Indeed, as much as I loved all the games up until before AR and SB, I think Scott went too far with trying to implement sci-fi aspects onto what was originally a paranormal realistic horror experience in a confined space in near pitch black environments. It just became a shitty wannabe space age horror game, really wrecked FNaF for alot of long-time OG fans of the franchise back in its golden days. Which is why a reboot is the best way for FNaF to continue successfully, moving forward, unless Steel Wool is trying to milk the franchise and fuck it up beyond fixing like they did with that disaster excuse for a “game” Security Breach.

Maybe something that could have called more attention to the marionette was a haunting option specific to them, like perhaps the music playing is distorted/corrupted, or has cutting/volume issues. Kind of like BB but not a completely obvious tell, it'd be mixed in with the rest of them normally, so they have to pay more attention at all times

Don’t double mark them as haunted. When you guess incorrectly, their stability decreases by roughly 50%. Look out for if the ones you guess have their stability plumit low or not when you mark them. If they do, then you need to call them in for repair

The jump scares didn't get to me like they usually do, but the gameplay loop is interesting, and the dread that builds up as you call animatronics back is a nice touch!

I'll admit the second marionette jumpscare even got me since I wasn't expecting it. They do a great job at it.

My heart couldn’t take the first jump scare 😭😭😭

God how were those animatronics ever allowed to be in front of children, they’re absolutely terrifying even in daylight

Here's a tip: when u guess wrong the animatronic will destabilize faster, also only balloon boy's numbers flicker when haunted

This is ever cool! It fits so well with the time line! Because is one of the video games (midnight motorist) there is a little bar called “Jr’s”! This is where the father of one of the MCI kids went but was kicked out due to the fact he had drank to much! When he returned hope he saw his kid had locked the door to his room, and when proceeding to go outside and get in through the window, he saw it broken and footsteps leading away from it! There were also animal footprints outside by the bushes. William (dressed as Bonnie) got the kid out (using the excuse to get out of the abusive household) and proceeded to lure him back to Freddy’s! Just a fun little fact. And not to mention we aren’t sure if William used the spring Bonnie suit and it just wasn’t raining when he kidnapped the child, or if he was wearing a costume (not spring lock suit) so he would not die.

markiplier never loses interest in fan games, he enjoys spreading content for his fans. Love you mark. (:

Obviously the implications in Security Breach are still true to FNAF, but it's a shame the game was WAY toned down to make it more kid-friendly. I love how realistic the animatronics look. They look vintage like something that was meant to be fun and cute for kids but ended up looking absolutely terrifying after so many years. These are the types of fan games we need more of

They uaed the clowns look creepy way when in older photos kids were happy to be next to one but when you see the clown in the photo looks like pennywise creepy lol This could be the only fnaf game that beats the originals on the realistic tier also that the machines make sense like the pc how it acts plus the small led green screen that uses the pen touch from like the 90s thats what i could call attention to detail

the scariest part of this game is that the music kinda sounds like my alarm so it keeps me on edge

A tip for Mark or anyone else playing, the 'glitching' stability counter will only ever be for BB, so it's easy to rule him out after every round. You can also get in lots of repairs since you know who the imposter is.

I liked how Markiplier caught on to Balloon Baby and it's stability

The style the animatronics are in remind me of the Rock Afire Explosion or early CEC days

I've seen multiple directions people have taken with this game. Dawko completely disabling the puppet and rushing through with no repairs, astralspiff bullshitting his way through and making plenty of mistakes, ryan trying to do it right and play on the more defensive side- I'm looking forward to seeing how mark plays!

He had to retry the next day after doing off screen tries at figuring out how to win night 2?? Mark on the other hand nailed the game in 20min starting to make up stats to beat 20 20 modes... Still the king for a dam reason. And Astralspiff braking the game (cheesing it) and then do the 35 strait challenge and make it. lol.

Duuude this game fucking rocks! The jumpscares are TERRIFYING and I love how they really lean into the fact the animatronics are haunted considering the whole "murdered children" thing FNAF's story started out with I love the mechanics and the art style, and honestly something like this is what I had been expecting from Security Breach before it came out! the jumpscares are actually so fun and the title screen for who was haunted shows up is also super interesting. the art, the details and graphics in the game as well are so good to look at and nothing looks out of place or weird. i honestly really like this game too because it actually does something with the whole ghost children possessing the animatronics.
