In all fairness to Mark's obsession, Ballora's Gallery is so simple that it really does feel like there must be something hidden in there. Unfortunately, it's a mini-game that violently discourages any attempt at exploration, and Mark is a masochist.

@@SpairM without spoiling what you have to do. The picture has nothing to do with what you have to do it just hints where to go. If I was a new fan and I went to the area that I was meant to go to. I would be unable to get it because you have to have prior knowledge of the lore and there's not one hint in the game to it. I think some of the puzzles are genuinely cool but the ballora one is straight up bs that only with inside knowledge would you get

I love that Mark is trying to look for secrets in Ballora Gallery, and the first thing he decides to do to solve the mystery of the lore is yell out Ballora’s name.

Same, although I have already seen a playthrough that’s done all the secrets. I’ve forgotten some, but either way it’s refreshing watching someone try to figure it out naturally. I hope he keeps playing without looking anything up or having it spoiled.

@@Biggsman_IV that is fair, they're ambiguous, especially the ballora one which i think is genuinely a bad clue, it doesn't relate at all. this one was just particularly funny because literally last episode he figured out the tilt puzzle and had the huge realization that the clues are pretty literal and then did not literally interpret the most obvious of the clues lol.

Everyone’s making fun of how long it’s taking Mark to figure out the secrets but…. This is the process in games. You fumble about until you ram face first into a secret by accident. I really like seeing the thought process he’s going through to get to these solutions in all honesty.

The duality of man is that I watched someone speedrun this in one stream and marks been doing this for over a month, And both playthroughs are glorious

They aren’t great clues, especially for the ballora clue. Its misleading and doesn’t provide it’s solution at all, really. Unless you’re aware of a sister location easter egg in the private room of “1983”, it is a terrible clue.

My husband pointed out that each time he receives a clue from the hippo the clue is about the exact level he just completed. It seems so obvious now that he pointed it out, but I can see why Mark didn't notice.

This series made me realize that Mark's fanbase doesn't treat him like a normal content creator, rather like an ape in a Zoo who managed to acquire a Rubik's cube. All just staring and screaming at him in anticipation that he just might one day figure it out.

Am I the only one who immediately thought that Pizza would be Chica's food?

Spent the first half of the episode alternating between screams and cheers as Mark slowly makes his way closer to the right answer

the fact that mark has pretty much said the answer to all the puzzles, but managed to sitll mess up solving them is insain.

You know took mark so long to get the the 4 chicas. But you know I am not mad because obviously mark didn't watch other KZreadrs to solve this. Did it all on his own and I am proud. I would have been so frustrated wondering what I was missing for the puzzle and would have seeked for help.

Imagine if Markiplier was working at the movie theater in real life..

he'd actually do a decent job in retail judging by his performance here. all fast food work is, is a series of steps done in a certain order and some cleaning. Marks ADHD mind seems to love procedural patterns so if he just didnt have to deal with customers (nobody in retail likes dealing with the customers XD) then im sure hed do great!

@@jayvee1387this! (Suspected of having adhd and autism, in the diagnosis process rn) i LOVE the repeated tasks where i just DO things the same over and over again. I get so much hyperfocus on them and the day flies by a lot faster. So Christmas is basically hell bc i have to advise so many customers, even tho my collagues tell me I’m a natural haha

I genuinely get a bit joyful wonder of some sort whenever Mark solves one of these mysteries. I have no idea how the secrets get solved, so finding out together is fun.
