Bring back Charlotte Green to The News Quiz. Without doubt the best Radio 4 newsreader and continuity announcer. I listened to Charlotte Green all through my college and university years and then at work so she has been in my life for half of my life.

I really miss Charlotte Green. I loved to listen to her on Radio 4's "The News Quiz" in the 1990s; she would often break down laughing. Full of fun and with a lovely speaking voice too.

I wish we could have YOU or your voice on Irish radio [ RTE ] what a joy its been listening to you and many others on radio 4 , I have been listening to that station for over 40 years in fact the radio in my kitchen is tuned to 198 mhz 24 hrs a day a1980s grundig radio . What a voice! Charlotte Green for the voice of the speaking clock, if there's still such a thing. I could imagine her now saying "At the third stroke, time sponsored by Accurist will be......" 👍
