I just wanted to let everyone know about something I saw today. Milwaukee released a new compact M18 hammer drill that is rated at 600 inch pounds. It only comes in a 4 tool combo right now, but it will be available in a combo with a 3 speed compact impact driver soon. I literally watched the TTI rep open the box and put it on display.

@@ToolswithSoAlz The compact drill kit is only $89 when I open it up on the app. I just remembered that the app automatically applies my veteran discount. There’s also a new feature on the app. When I open up an item in my cart, it generates a barcode for the cashier to scan. I’m guessing that means that the store will honor the website price.

That chainsaw was pretty damn cool, not gonna lie.

This is the first ive heard of the Forge battery. Im definitely gonna look into those more

Milwaukee deff makes some great tools, arguably the best to alot of ppl. That chainsaw would be great for smaller quick jobs, i cut trees all my life professionally and am not getting rid of my stihl and husqvarnas lol

I’d like to see some head to head competition with a forge battery vs a high output or xc . 2 hammer drills side by side one ho on forge , or a timer on the chainsaw 2-3 test cuts one of each battery , a impact wrench fastener timer or even db meter etc etc . I have enuff batts I’m not worried about charge time . I have not got a forge yet. When high output came out I jumped the ban wagon it was not significant enuf to justify imo .

Rather get one of those diesel electric heaters. Probably less to run and less expensive to buy. That Forge battery and driver smoked those timberloks. Chainsaw was brutal. I'd probably get a holzfforma g444 head personally. But... if you already have those F batteries and Milkwaukee stuff.

I really want the super charger but my wife is already mad about how much I’ve spent on Milwaukee shit. 😂

I deleted my original question because I realized that there was a major typo. How would you compare the balance of the compact M18 with the gen 4 Fuel?

@@ToolswithSoAlz Maybe I should be more specific. When you hold the compact M18 like a pistol, is it less forward heavy than the M18 Fuel? That’s the main reason I chose Ridgid over the Fuel.

@@ToolswithSoAlz I’m just asking your opinion because I haven’t tried the compact. If my Dewalt chuck gives up the ghost, I want to find a good replacement. I guess I’ll just have to try it out for myself because our hands are very different.

Have you ever thought of using screws that you would for metal and steal for concrete.. If you drill the screws in hammer drill mode they will go through concrete faster than the concrete screws

Those are just track clamps, a track square is a different tool that you have to buy separately.
