I've been eating disordered since I was 12 years old. Years and years of struggle and living life with one foot in death's door, I've started watching your videos. Watching you has made me realize that I don't want this stupid disorder kill me. I want to live and get to your age and I want to enjoy doing it. Thank you, Sandra. You have inspired me to give recovery another shot and stop my slow suicide. Lots of love.

Your that mum .. aunt… true friend I have always longed to have…I have friends who are are lost in material world and their relationships or marriage have turned out to be a competition… who earns more… who works more…and yesterday I was telling them what makes us who we are, isn’t about what we have or do but how we feel and make others feel…and because of you..you have inspired me to see true beauty and happiness in the simplicity of life.❤️💜🙏

Sandra, I’ll speak to the importance of helping people from the side of the recipient. Several months ago I had a very serious medical crisis and almost died. I have no close family but I have a core group of about six local friends (all former co-workers) who have been there for me 100%. It has meant the world to me. They visited me in the hospital, drove me to doctor appointments, set up my house to make it easier for me, bought me groceries and lunch and, perhaps most important, prayed for me. I am doing very well, now, and I’m trying to show my appreciation to my friends in many ways as a group and individually. Thank you for your wisdom.

Respectfully, this is the elder/grandparent that is so needed. It is so refreshing to see a person embracing aging gracefully. It is dope to see this woman embracing a social media platform and sharing her wisdom. Bet money this channel will have 2+ million subscribers in the next year. Let's all share her material as much as possible.

@@thisisvedanti2264 I'm so sorry to hear that 😢 I tried to fix myself by reading a million self help books, which did help and got me 75% of the way. But I needed to reach out and see a psychologist to get me over the line. I would have been much better sooner if I had done so earlier! So my advice would be, find a psychologist you like to help if you haven't yet. Then supplement your therapy with things like self help, exercise, meditation. I found a holistic approach is the best :)

@@carmenhunter4380 I understand!!! I cannot keep up with all the numerous storms for years now that are happening. I cannot keep up, no joy. Even KZread is getting very annoying too many channels have loud music and YT is playing way too many not nice noisy loud commercials distracting to the message of the Channel, have to run for the remote. Maybe the Creator is not aware but I am drifting away from YT's chronic annoyance and simply turning it off. After all how many "Ads" must we be held hostage too.

Sandra, I'd like to know what you think about things in the world. You happen to live in one of the best, if not THE best state out of the 50! I live in California---I know, me too, but I've been here nearly fifty years. That said, California in the 80's, when California was the real Golden State, was wonderful. I'm more of a person who could have fun in a paperbag! I've had to entertain myself since I was in high school and have come to really love my own company. I'm NEVER lonely, I've traveled the world alone and absolutely loved it. Coming and going and doing as I please, when I please has become sooooo important. I read The Power of Your Subonscious Mind over 50 years ago, also The Game of Life and How to Play It. I've given these 2 books to every woman who was crying and feeling insecure. Of course there are many more books that everyone would benefit from, I just can't list them all here. I'm absolutely certain you have many of them on your bookshelf too! Your video's are always the best of everything. Maybe you could talk about what a perfect lady Queen Elizabeth II was. England is a wonderful place, been there about 5 times over the past 40 years and I could easily live there. God bless you, dear Sandra.

My oldest daughter said that she could move to England in a heartbeat. After watching the ceremonies and the wonderful traditions during Queen Elizabeth II’s funeral, it’s very tempting to see a country that is not divided but together and want to join them. In my opinion the world is not moving forward in a positive way. That coming from me who lived through WWII. I pray this country will become less divided and more united. Being your own best friend has always been a great base for happiness.

@@lifewithsandrahart Thank you, Sandra, I totally agree with your daughter. I have visited London and the British Isles many, many times and each time I have always wished I lived there. Wathcing the Queen's funeral was so sad, the end of an era. Yes, this country IS moving the the wrong direction. Everyone can easily see that, but there are people who, sadly, want it to be that way. I'm in good company when I complain about the situation. Like you, I have lived through some rough times. Yes, those times made me stronger. God help us, God, please help us all. God be with you, Sandra, now and forever. I love hearing you speak about life's journey. Thank you.

Cultivating friends is so important. It is a skill and it takes time, has emotional, monetary, physical and mental cost (as for all worthwhile pursuits) and the results are rich and deeply satisfying. Good friendships give joy. They are the 'brotherly love' or 'sisterly love' every person needs. I treasure my friends. Some folk say they need or want friends and yet are not prepared to put in the work. I say 'work' in the best sense of the word. God bless you all. Big hug. 💛🌻🌾🍃🐾😊

Oh, Sandra! You can't imagine how good your weekly videos are for me. They are really a big bless! You are able to say everything I think (but I don't dare to say... ) Maybe, as you are older, you don't feel embarrased to speak the truth of life anymore. Everything you say is so useful and true.... And you speak so clear, that it's a pleasure to keep practicing my English with you. Thanks so so much!!!! Kisses from Spain!

Sandra, I stumbled onto your lovely videos by accident, and wish to tell you that we much in common. I too believe in the same things you believe in, including being generous and kind. Doing for others, without expecting anything in return for me, comes natural. I am 76 years young and I have lots of friends at my community center. I enjoy my life tremendously, even though I was widowed last October, after 52 years of marriage. I stay busy helping our animal shelter thrive, and helping at our community center. Doing for others, including my large family, is a pleasure for me, because I was raised that way. I particularly liked the part where you mention Jordan Peterson. My grandmother, and grandfather, who at the time of Hitler, were living in Budapest, Hungary, during the war. There, they helped a Jewish Family hide in their cellar, because my grandmother's - grandmother, long deceased, was Jewish. I too was raised somewhat Jewish in Germany, and Australia. Consequently, I ended up translating a Jewish Cookbook in 2003, written and published in Germany, in 1810 by a Henny Van Cleef. A survival cookbook, that was given to all Jewish Brides on their wedding day. Used copies are still for sale on Amazon, to this day. The book is called "The Israeli Table Kitchen, by Henny Van Cleef, translated by me, Theresia Riggs. I have always been happy to help those less fortunate. I take care of myself, I travel, and with any luck, will live to a ripe old age.

Hi Sandra- I’ve been a subscriber & daily listener about 5 months. I have not commented before. I am 61, work fulltime at a career I’ve thrived in since 2008. 2 children… an amazing daughter age 39 and my beautiful son Danny age 32 this month. I’ve overcome divorce, and all other traumatic events life has dealt… EXCEPT- one… A tragedy that stumps me up several times monthly. My amazing son- dedicated his life to a very overbearing woman that counselors tell me she is Covert Narcissist and she has sucked my sons character completely out of him. She’s obsessed with making babies and uses all of my grand children as pons the our entire family so she “ chooses” when we can or cannot be a part of their lives. Out of the 9 years they have been together and the past 7 years they have been having children, I’ve been shunned over and over so I’ve lost 4 years of my 3 grand children and of my son. My son believes his stability in life is his wife and about 4 yrs back they divorced yet live together. I know even though he’s my son… I must treat this the same as a bad relationship and run. Stay away, live for what is good and positive. However some nights, I do let the sadness consume me, crying myself to sleep and praying, then I pick myself up and move forward… I normally overcome the pain myself when it hits however I thought I’d share this today❤️
