Those Pro Palis are not interested in Palestinians, not interested in learning the truth, don’t even fully understand the conflict. If one has never lived here and if one wasn’t here on Oct 7 and if one didn’t bury loved ones or are waiting for hostages to come home, he/she has no authority to blame Israel. Not once did they break into your house, to my understanding it's thousands of protesters that will face consequences according to the law. I prefer forgiveness instead of outrage, if ever in a position to walk away from the fight at hand the responsibility is to take those experiences and grow as an individual. well the difference here is that Platt and the others did not start anything. Many of the protestors were violent, broke the rules, and created damage on the campus. The rest of your comment makes no sense at all.

Love his music but just can't support him here. Israel has way too much blood on its hands and this hard fact has been true for decades now. Israel has put itself in a morally indefensible state for some time now by its actions. I'm not going to defend Hamas supporters, I have no interest in that, but selectively criticizing that when the overwhelming moral failure here is Israels . . . that is not acceptable.

It's not antisemitism to oppose what Israel is doing. How sad that the ADL has tossed out their campaigning against hate and bigotry to instead focus on defending the country of Israel from criticism for its actions.

Jews at UCLA, Universities across the Country and just Jews in the USA and around the World should not be discriminated because of the actions of the Israeli Governmnet That conflict is very complicated. What is not complicated that a Jewish Student should not be denied access to that College by so called Pro-Palestinians because they are Jewish.. That is not only reminiscent of Nazi Germany, that is Nazi Germany in the USA in 2024.

The protestors are not advocating for peace, they are chanting for the elimination of the Jewish state. They do not mention the hostages or acknowledge what happed on October 7th.Any other country that was attacked like that would have destroyed Gaza completely! And why the hyper focus by them on this issue thousands of miles away when there are so many worse atrocities against people that didn't attack first!

Ondrasik you are using selective judgment. Israel had every right to go after the perpetrators. However, Israel ran 700,000 Palestinians out of Israel in 1948 and they indiscriminately bombed 2,000,000 Gazans for what was done by .001% of Gazans. That is the mother of all collective judgments and not only that, but it continues. Ondrasik, you see what you want to see, but you also are wrong that the American public supports this. At the beginning, before the onslaught became oceans of blood Americans did support Israel, but as the toll approach Himalayan proportions the support waned, because unlike you Ondrasik the American public, even with mainstream media suppression of facts, knows what is an appropriate amount of retribution is versus industrial scale slaughter. I am not impressed of your historical knowledge of Palestine Ondrasik I'd be willing to debate you anytime anywhere in front of cameras and at the end you will be a pool of sweat and defeat, because you don't know what you are talking about.

I read your comment more than once. There are many reasons this conflict will never end from the beginnings of Ishmael & Isaac, but I am sure there are many prayers the conflict would end once and for all. Meanwhile, one question that persists is why would Hamas not release all the remaining (let alone never taken any) hostages, even if, God forbid, some or all are dead. I'm not saying that's going to cease ALL further conflict, but if those hostages were my people taken from my back yard, I believe that I would keep fighting both offensively and diplomatically until all of the hostages were returned. Your response is appreciated.

In fact, you're exercising selective judgment and interpreting events to fit your preconceived notions. Firstly, he is not discussing the root causes of the conflict and what brought it to this point, instead, he is discussing a very different issue related to but distinct from the core conflict, which has its own significance. Attempting to rationalize the events of October 7th is futile; there can be no justification for such heinous acts. Your assertion that October 7th constituted "an appropriate amount of retribution" is deeply troubling. Justifying terrorist actions leaves no room for debate, despite your attempt to extend an invitation to Ondrasik for discussion. It's evident you're not seeking dialogue but rather aiming to shame and discredit him, as indicated by your statement: "at the end you will be a pool of sweat and defeat." Such rhetoric is sadly expected from someone who appears to condone terrorism.
