This is why I like my Dr! he’s older man, actually educated in Iraq, I’m met him as an intern where I worked. He appreciates the United States and everything that he’s able to attain here. He’s a great doctor.

They still have to pass the same rigor of material and the USMLE just like any other doctor from 1992 onwards. As a 25 year emergency room, nurse, I find the video by the Harvard MDs to be completely inappropriate unprofessional, and every one of them should be kicked out of the course. I think it has a lot to do with the Social Media, which has undermined young people’s self worth, because they are constantly comparing themselves to people who are more beautiful, more successful, having more fun, leading more meaningful lives etc. This has undermined the younger generation’s sense of self worth, because they are constantly comparing themselves to impossible ideals, most of them completely false portrayals of themselves on Instagram and other platforms. They are constantly seeking validation and acceptance, and will seek to be accepted by anyone who will give them validation. I think most young people today are desperately looking for a sense of belonging to a community that validates who they are. This is extremely sad, but the only way we as grown ups and parents can change this is by instilling an unshakable self confidence in our children and the youth of today so that they don’t compare themselves to impossible (fake) ideals and learn to love themselves for who they really are.

@@tarable7778 Social media has undermined the self worth of the kids today. This means they are constantly seeking validation from others instead of learning to love who they are. They are desperate to find validation, constantly comparing themselves to people who are more successful, more beautiful, happier, having more fun, more money etc. and most of the posts they compare themselves to are completely fake. They are desperate for attention and validation and will do anything to get it. Even if it means protesting something they don’t understand or joining radical extremist groups. The best thing we as grown ups and parents can do is to instil an unshakable sense of self worth so they don’t need validation from others.

Many medical schools have abandoned the Hippocratic Oath at the gaduation ceremony in favor of reciting a woke buzzword salad which genuflects to the DEI Holy Trinity. As a med school graduate i wouldn't mouth it at gunpoint.
