FIVE Class 37 TRACTORS, 93001, GRID and PLENTY of Loco TONES! Chesterfield 17/06/24
Great few hours at Chesterfield seeing a lovely mix of locos and light engines with plenty of horn action also!
See 37608n dragging 93001 to the Rail Live event at Long Marston, followed by 37418/37508 returning from the NYMR gala. Following these and seen crossing are 37425 and 37558/37424 headed to Barrow Hill after their recent ownership change from DRS to HNRC.
Lots more action also to see with plenty of locos on the move.

When I was a young trainspotter in the 60s, EE3s as we called them then we least liked of the big 3 after Brush 4 and Brush 2. They have certainly out lived them

@@trainsplanes I noticed that, I had no idea that Chesterfield had such a small station. I’ve seen bigger at rural stations.
Great video shame they cant bring the 37 back to oxford as that is my favourite loco all we have is 66s

has 93001 ever ran under it's own power yet , whats the crack with it ??
Interesting to see 37424, what is happening with it then? I heard the future isn't looking terribly bright unless something is done with the wheelsets
