We often think of only one brain, but what if there’s more to that? Performance and executive coach, speaker, and author, Carlos Davidovich combines his education in neuroscience and experience in business executive roles to educate on how principles from both areas can be effectively applied in leadership. Carlos Davidovich, M.D., is a performance and executive coach with over twenty years of experience supporting the development of leaders and management teams alike on an international scale. Originally educated as a medical doctor and drawing on his management experience in business executive roles for multinational pharmaceutical companies in the area of biotechnology; Carlos combines his understanding of the brain and of business to deliver lectures, workshops, and coaching modalities that help his clients apply the principles of Neuromanagement within their organizations to create sustainable change. As co-author of Personality DNA: Discover Your True Personality, he is also helping individuals succeed by gaining knowledge over their own unique character traits. Carlos teaches in several MBA programs in Canada and Europe and is thought leader with the Institute of Coaching at McLean Hospital, a Harvard Medical School affiliate. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at www.ted.com/tedx

Thank you Carlos! Love the clear images and descriptions you shared about the complete neurological landscape (brain, heart, gut) and the relationship between one's rational/logical brain and impulses vs the underlying emotions and motivations they must learn to trust. There is so much here to explore, thank you for teeing-it up so clearly for us!

Finally someone that gives perspective that describes the relation between rational and emotional centres in our bodies. Having read more of Carlos' papers I am very happy to see him on TEDx. Carlos' profound understanding on how the 5 different inputs eventually lead to behavioural patterns and how we can benefit from understanding those in daily decision making is a true advantage for every leader.
