Fitting 37's on the solid axle swapped S10! Setting up Bump stops, Shocks and trimming fenders!

Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары

In this video I am in the final stages of getting the Chevy S10 Rock lander ready for its maiden voyage to Easter Jeep Safari in Moab, Utah. We fully assemble the rear 9" axle, set up the brakes, hydro assist. Install the ARB air compressor for the Yukon Zip locker. Trim the front an rear fenders to fit the 37's. We also wrap up the front suspension and get this truck on all fours and get it running. This video we go from a truck completely on jack stands to running and moving under its own power. Will I get it finished and make it to EJS this year?

You muddy butts did a lot of good work on that S10. I don't see a lot of four-door ones anymore. Looks nice. I may have to watch more of your videos. Daryl

you could make a coil retainer on the axle side and a locator cone or even just a tube it rides over that lets the coil unseat at full droop

Was about to say the same thing. Very common in the Rover world. On mine I actually use a secondary small spring as my upper retainer that lets the main spring pull away from the pocket then pulls it back into place. Sorta hard to describe but works well enough.

Sucks you missed your goal. Did you go tag along with anyone? Looking awesome. Me being a yj guy. Links are cool, but the s10 has a pretty arched rear leafs and are spring under. Might have been easier to just do an axle flip and gain the 6 inches and link it later. But im hard core leafs of the poors 😂

My Metric-ton Comanche has a Dana 44 rear and a Dana 30 front. Would like a wagoneer front Dana 44 but will likely settle in the 30 with Spartans front and rear. Most my driving is off road. Dandahermit.

So far looks great.. I'd like to mount 33s to 36s on my Comanche without a tall lift?? I live up a trail similar to yours in the mountains. Just wand ground clearance and traction to come n go. Straight utility. I have a Toyota monster but don't want to depart from the OEM body. It's a collector 87metric-ton. Dandahermit
