Fishing the St. Croix Avid Panfish Series on a Florida Lake

Спорт

The St. Croix Avid Panfish (ASPS64LF) is such a great rod for fishing these southern Florida waters. These waters very regularly have some thick vegetation near shore and often times the fish you hook into will be on the larger end of what most people would consider panfish. This rod in particular has the sensitivity and backbone to give the angler the edge when out on the water.

I do hate having to fish lakes with that much vegetation. But as you mentioned you fish where and when you can. Great job getting that mayan out of those weeds. I remember actually going in to a pond and swimming along the line to get a five pound largemouth out of the weeds.

Is that like a shopping plaza with a boardwalk behind the pond? Looks like a juicy spot

Yes. Lots of restaurants with outdoor seating over there. It's a nice spot for fishing or hanging out.

Unfortunately we can't all always fish pristine waters. Sometimes you have to make due with what you have.

@@user-Fi5sh5in5g I've pulled plenty of fish out of snags like that.
