Fishing the remote SE of Western Australia

We towed the fishing quads back out to the fertile fishing grounds of the remote SE of Western Australia. It was a new moon, and all the stars had aligned..
But as fishing often does, it slapped us down, and the fish were very quiet..
This is a video on our setups, the locations etc.. but with very few fish being caught (This time)

Always good to see that corner of the state on the screens, shame there wasn’t too much quarry in the eskies on the trip home but be great to spend a few nights out there nonetheless. Better luck next time you head down there mate.

I'm a reasonably good boat fisherman but I have rarely had much luck beach fishing. These days i just use it as an excuse to sit and look at the sea while I drink a beer or two :) Pity you didn't get many decent fish on the trip but it was fun to watch. The mulloway was a good save at the end though.

Yeh, normally clean up here.. but that's fishing.. Its a long way to go to come back with basically empty freezers. But its was a good time none the less..
