I never get sick of watching you fish and eat. It's the adventures you go on that are so brilliant to watch. They way you deliver them with no fuss and just an honest approach to your content is what makes them so special. Seviche though is a good change. Keen as to give it a go. As for going out of your way to get to ridiculous locations and catch almost nothing. I love watching that. It makes me feel less bad about catching nothing at Hillary's boat harbour.......😂

Tip on selecting juicy lemons (tree or supermarket) - the smoother the skin, the more juicy it will be. Always. I know some types of lemons have naturally more bumpy skin, but if you select the smoothest skin on the tree, or in the supermarket bin, you'll have a winner. Thanks for the video, and no, I never get sick of you catching bugger all at remote locations. Makes the great days all the better. Thanks for picking up the plastic. Every bit helps the planet.

As someone fishing the Mediterranean Sea and getting skunked for weeks it is kind of surprising to see you having very few bites too even in Australia. But the landscape and the sea are worth the effort every time in my opinion. For me a catch is just a bonus. But as a youtuber for you it's essential to have some success I guess

In answer to your question about remote locations and not catching much… the fishing is just the icing on the cake, the cake still is great without the icing. 😊 Well done with the clean up, all those bottles will be from fishing trawlers. The caps wash up together thousands of metres away from their associated bottles. Nth Queensland is the place for plastic on the beaches but usually it ends up accumulating in particular spots. I came across a couple picking up plastic and putting it in massive kerbside bin bags and I said I hope you have 10 of those because you could fill a council bin (large one) in 15 mins, bottles with Asian writing, long line floats and those massive stainless steel shark clips. At first I thought the Span gas bottle was part of the national park alert on the east coast for bottles of Aluminium Phosphide that was washing on to beaches around K’gari. Highly toxic rat poison that could kill you if you smelled it.

dear Gido, A Californian here just want to give you my abuelas recipe for ceviche. 1# fish cubed 1/2 inch 30 grams salt 1L boiling water Step 1 blanch fish for 15 secs in boiling salted water. Then immediately drop into cold water for 30 sec. Blanch in batches to not drop water temp. do not cook fish through just set the color and texture. Remove fish from ice bath and retain on a tray. Juice of 4 limes juice of 1 lemon 1/2cup fine dice shallot 1/2cup mince coriander include stem and leaf*if you take your coriander and place it in a bag in the sun to sweat=more flavor 1/2cup med. diced roma tomato Pat fish dry then combine fish with the rest of the ingredients allow to sit 1 hour then after the hour salt to taste *when using milder fish you can use a high quality fish sauce to add a little bit of umami to it

Once time in Dampier I was headed to a beach on an island I wanted to pull up and camp on. An island that people rarely camp because it doesn’t have any good anchorage. This bigger boat goes straight past me when Im almost there and pulls up exactly on the beach I was going to. So I headed further along and found my own spot. In all the years thats the only one I can think of. Generally Im so remote I don’t see anyone at all

You could try and cook out of a natural wood official bond fire, and cook, if that's possible on some remote locations.
