I just playing the game after the max drag update so i don't know about that. But I've always set my reel break to -1 bcs I noticed that if I set it to max it would damage my reel faster. Anyway thanks for the head-up!

WARNING : This guide does not mention to anchor up before catching a Sturgeon, if you hook a Stuirgeon while anchored down like myself then expect a very very long fight and significant daamge to your gear. Always remember to Anchor up.... I think this is a must to mention in the video for us who have not used a boat.

funnily enough I managed to get from 30-34 with exactly 298 shiners while also filling up the net maxed with 4min left on the license which took a total of 13 days in game time. I've been following your guide since the beginning and I would say It's pretty much accurate with very minor error. Mind you since the update, you wont have to worry about them biting of your line since you will rarely be fighting unique (around >10 from the whole) fish would just hook off so you wouldn't lose or need to change any hooks and leaders.

My suggestion for sturgeon with lower keepnet is i used 2/0 hooks so i was more likely to get fish in keeping range so i wasnt releasing money and so i wasnt fighting huge fish with low gear as much i was also rolling the time 1 hour every 2 fish and usually still getting 2 an hour

Atm got a really nice end game casting setup thst i bought with end game coins i think it was the lvl 73 or lvl 72 rod and reel and then the bottom rods from the congo dlc so i might be able to fish at amazon i believe will have to recheck your video. skipping time with baitcoins its a waste of baitcoins, I would wait but then again if the wait time is super long I would use baitcoin, but try to save them you can find a lot better use for them than skipping time that's for sure

this is fun other then waiting for timer i've filled my net and still having to wait for timer cooldown, "not spending coins" im getting around 13K each day, i've fished 3 full days and im lvl 31 here so far in just a few hours.

i get were farming for XP in this guide and trying to progress but im not so sure i trust going for sturgeon with these rods, i'd almost rather sell the rods we've used in the series and buy 2 feeder rods that i can actually pull in the pike and just farm here for awhile or if we only need 1 rod and reel for sturgeon fishing i'd sure love a rod and reel to save up for before going there because im currently lvl 32 and im up to 150K so i may be around 200K when i reach lvl 34 so i would like to upgrade rods also why are we keeping the lower rods and putting them in home? are we gonna need them later on or something.

I think the sturgeon kayak method has stopped working since the ocean update because the kayak physics have changed and you can't chase the fish like you used to.

At lvl 50 you pretty much need a whole new gear that includes keep net rod holder and 6 new rods 5 bottom ones and one spod rod for carp. after reaching lvl 54 at weeping willows you want to get one match rod and fish for drums with 4 bottom rods plus match rod for tarpon at blue crab, if you look for blue crab on my channel there’s a video there with all the markers that you need there. But i haven’t got one for wiping willows UK. I want to update this guide as so many people are asking for it, I will take couple days off from work and I will record it in next few weeks but as you are already lvl 50, try finding something on KZread about lvl 50 carp fishing UK. Just don’t buy any carp rods for carp fishing it’s waste of money at this point as you will only stay there for 4 levels.

I hooked something that took my line all the way out to 550 ft. I fought it for 2 irl hours before losing it to low tension. If it was a unique it never bit my leader off

You can do this only when your gear is below certain % of health, when you leave the fishery it will ask you if you want to repair it. Other than that you have to move it to your home storage and do it there manually 🤷‍♂️ so No there’s no other way at the moment 😑

Keep it, later in game you will start doing missions some of them require lower level gear, and most times you will use low level setups to make it more fun. Try not to sell your gear except maybe fish nets as you upgrade them all the time but keep the rods and reels, if you have to, use baitcoins to increase your storage space💪💪

Yeah you should upgrade it as soon as you can, you will only buy rods to farm sturgeons at level 50 you will be buying better bottom rods so buy something that’s ok to fish for sturgeon. At level 48 you can buy casting rod and go fishing for timen Mongolia so you will need new rod for 2 levels as well.

I would recommend fishing for salmon I have included the video at the end.. there is also bighead carp but you will need to buy match rods and you will never use them again so it's waste of money in my opinion as you can do same if not more farming sturgeon or salmon ... at level 50 you will unlock new bottom rods and rod stand for 4 rods as well as bigger net and spod rod that you will need for carp fishing... buying 5 new rods with all the gear will cost you fortune so if I was you I would go farm sturgeon and salmon until you reach level 50. salmon fishing is a lot more fun than sturgeon once you know all the times and locations, I did a long video while a go where you catch fish pretty much on every cast and despite the video being bit long and boring you can learn everything what you need to be successful there.. I honestly feel sorry for all of you that at this level range as there is nothing really you can do at this point.. you have to just suck it up and grind your way to 50 unfortunately 🤷‍♂️😭 here's the link for salmon farm kzread.info/dash/bejne/c5hqx9WNl5Taoag.html

No I wouldn’t recommend buying rods just to farm pike, you can later buy better rods for sturgeon and use it to farm pike as well 😅

Sure you can, buy something at level 30, whatever match or bottom rods these two works the same for pike. Pike don’t grow that big it’s pretty easy fishing.

Unfortunately is this strat due to the drag-change not possible anymore with this kind of gear... complete closing of the reelbreak will destroy your gear and hard breaking the reel will drain the durability of the weak gear and the repair costs eat up the fish rewards..

@@B3GameBox he probably means that he is barelly getting any XP, like with the 3 red arrows poiting left. Same for me btw, no matter if 8kg, 16kg or 26kg float rod. Neither do i get any green arrows with an 8.5kg bottom rod or an 8.5kg spinning rod. I have premium and i use barbless hooks only. All my rod setups are perfectly balanced but i never get any green arrows. Highest XP i got was 1200 for a 19.8kg unique lake trout.

I would like to ask you to tell me or show me your rods so that I know what kind you have so that I can buy like you. I have a request for you to explain to me how to get into the fishing rods in the clan so that no I know to never enter with them in these competitions in the game

If you spend money on dlc you will get access to the high level fisheries like Congo and you will level up a lot faster yes, Congo is the most popular when it comes to levels

barbless hooks give you more xp. the size difference is it goes down in size for #1 thru #10 and up for #10/0 thru #1/0

this series is good but the only problem i had was until I got to the sturgeon, I was fighting all of them for over 30 minutes and the closest they would get is 30 feet, then take me out to the 100+ mark and rinse repeat, I don't know if I'm doing something wrong but i have no more money since I didn't catch any and need to restart, (don't feel like an ass since it only took me 2 days to get here) I'm going to stick with pike until i get a better setup for sturgeon.

You can always go back and do all the missions whenever you want, that’s not a problem at all, what is definitely not fun is when you are broke at lvl 20 and you have to catch bass at lone star lake because you can’t afford to go anywhere or buy anything lol the grind it’s actually pretty good and fun, if you like fishing though I really don’t mind. 😀🍀

you can use all 4 on the same marker, that's not a problem any marker will do if you after sturgeon , cast 4 rods catch 2-4 fish re cast at different marker and repeat, if you are after pike you can use 1 same marker all day long 😁

we use nights because we can skip time every two hours, during the day you will have to pay baitoins to forward time so its not worth it during the day. catch as many as you can and just skip to next night 💪💪

if you getting reduced XP it means you are using to strong rod and to fix this you need to use lighter setup. but keep in mind that you might be getting little less xp for small bass, however if you catch unique you don't have to spend 30 min fighting the fish! so you actually saving some time. You can make more xp even if you use stronger rod. don't worry about xp get money xp will follow..

Hey there,really love your content but sturgeons are not the best farm for xp on the delta at all! (if we are talking of power leveling) Way more xp to make with trophys(carp,bar,salmons) and uniques(bar n carps) Trynna start your run for exemple at 5pm with 2 sturgeons,5pm30 to 6pm45 on the carp just backside you on the video,7pm to 8pm you jump on the bar and salmons,8pm to 9pm on the second unique carp n sturgeons spot. Bottom sniper rods,peas for carps,shrimps for sturgeons n salmons,shiner for bars,barbless #6/0 for everybody ;)

Yeah it sound awesome 😎 looks like you spend some time there 😀 however in this guide people use lvl 20 feeder rods and have just enough money to start fishing here. I’m sure you can get more XP if you mix it up a bit and you know where to cast at certain times but with current gear and no experience it would be to hard for someone that is just starting. But yes definitely this is the point what I’m trying to make, if you spend time and learn about the water you fishing in, you can catch a lot more than just following someone’s guide. It’s always good idea to experiment and try new things 😃💪👊

@@B3GameBox i'm on fishing planet speed runs,pretty hard stuck around this very hard maku maku map,trying to find a legit way to broke the game without their pretty expensives pay to win in the shop,then yes i'd spend a bit of time on the delta. This is pretty sad to see almost everybody on the delta asleep only on their sturgeons,or asleep again only on a same spot which gonna starve after 6 or 7 catches... Lvl35 migth be better than 34 to go,12kg rod reel n line do the job for almost every fishs (if they know how to mount correctly the stuff obv),just need sturgeons with kayak or a boat. For sure my strategy requiered to know a bit the map but all uniques n trophy carp n bar spots are pretty popular on youtube! Also,i do recommand to jump on bagersee's bigheads asap,20kg reel n line do the job with them ;) Overall,the most common mistake people use to do is fishing with too heavy (or wrong) stuff (you know those red and green arrows). Already did the test with a m8 (on the delta :D),for the same fish basket (150kg 25kg) i d grab almost 2x more xp with my green arrows than him with his 3 red ones. Not find why yet but for a same fish you can have green arrows with for exemple a 4kg spinning rod and red ones with 4kg bottom rods,the both with barbless stuff. And if that may help someone one day,for the top water float fishing tips (11cm deep only),braid="no" trophy no uniques,fluoro=jackpot Sorry for this too long message^^

@@mikaleboulet612 don’t be sorry it’s good info 👊 and maku-maku lake it’s a total waste of time hehe I try so many times find a way to get some good xp but if you don’t have boat with rod holders to catch catfish you have nothing to do there except catching piranhas 😅 arapaima is just not enough 😢

Doesn't work for me on sturgeon. It says the fish was to strong for the Equipment

Nice video, but isn't there an island where you cast 2 fishing rods very close to the shore and catch and reel in sturgeons very quickly?

Yeah there is but it’s not as easy as it seems, they might take your bait and just go, and as we are using such a light setup it will take forever to land it… so I would not recommend fishing from the shore with these rods.

why i always fail to catch fish with this setup? it said the fish is too strong, please i need help

Years after the update they messed up big time, you need to upgrade your setup to something stronger, you will find more info in comments

Yes big head and silver head carp in Germany, and salmon at Kaniq for carp you need 3 new match rods and for salmon you need spinning and special lure, on both these locations you will make slightly less xp than sturgeon.

Any way to get exp faster at level 30-35? Almost on day 2 and got nearly double the amount of money we need, but experience seems to be slower than it should.

@@TheTemp3zt honestly look at level 50 bottom rods and reels check the price, you will need 4 or of them and then one spod rod plus reel, and 4 rod stand + big new net + lots of bait + motor boat if you don't have one already.. just add this all up and check out how much you will need to spend at level 50😅 then you get to level 64 and you can upgrade everything again lol and nobody is even talking about spinning or match rods... there is a constant need of money in this game ... but hopefully you keep making more and more when you level up😁

This video it’s part of series you should go and watch previous episodes. If I remember it’s lvl 20 25 at the end of the video you can find more info about the gear, if you are already lvl 30 you can buy something better, these are one of the first rods available and are not the best 👍
