I think the sturgeon kayak method has stopped working since the ocean update because the kayak physics have changed and you can't chase the fish like you used to.

funnily enough I managed to get from 30-34 with exactly 298 shiners while also filling up the net maxed with 4min left on the license which took a total of 13 days in game time. I've been following your guide since the beginning and I would say It's pretty much accurate with very minor error. Mind you since the update, you wont have to worry about them biting of your line since you will rarely be fighting unique (around >10 from the whole) fish would just hook off so you wouldn't lose or need to change any hooks and leaders.

Ive been using the same two float rod setup and occasionally use a one feeder aswell the float one rod is a 25.5lb max drag and the other is 27.5lb i have both on 20lb line and 20lb leader on 7/0 barbless hooks and for regular pike i dont struggle one bit , they barely reel me to 80 ft (quick and easy fight) the trophy reel me out from 90-120ft (still pretty easy fight) ive only caught one uni, a 35 pounder and it reeled me to 120ft but i didnt really struggle to much as i did rush it when it went to the open section to the left, it can definitely handle the sturgeon at sj although im not sure if id recommend a float rod there(i also caught a 75lb terror tarpon with the weaker rod on the 20lb leader and rod so they work great for me and not to expensive but still not the cheapest option weaker rod lvl needer for whole setup is 29 and stronger rod setup is lvl 31 if anyone wants either setup feel free to ask me)

No it's not I fill up a 500kg net in like maybe 2 ingame hours and I get like 40k cash and 20k xp and I don't have to pay for skipping the time like on weeping willows or I don't have to wait and I don't have to spend money on the groundbait or skip entire days destroying my gear since I can make every day work on blue crab you might be doing something wrong idk maybe there's something faster tham this but I doubt it
