Fishing In California - Bishop CA. We had a fun and exciting time fishing in Bishop CA. We caught several fish using Powerbait and European Nightcrawlers. This was a 5 day fishing trip and this is day 2, will be adding more fishing videos soon. We headed out to Pleasant Valley Reservoir in Bishop CA, and we had a fantastic fishing day! We took our bikes to the boat ramp area which is about a mile and a half down the road. Beautiful views, clean air and gorgeous scenery. The stream is large, you can throw your line out really far out in the water. We went fishing with Alex's Friends Adrian, Ernie and David. We even ran into a cool guy that we were talking with, that happened to know us from our fishing trip videos and came to Pleasant Valley Reservoir because of it. That was really cool to meet him and his friend.
We caught 6 fish that day and decided to bike back before it got too dark. We stayed at the Travelodge and they provide a really nice area to clean and gut fish, as well as a nice freezer to store them all in. Alex weighed the fishes and he has the biggest so far at 1.5 pounds, as we are running a contest who catches the biggest fish. After Alex finished cleaning all 6 fish, we head out to grab dinner and call it a night so we can wake up early for the next day of fishing! More videos coming soon.

Thrill of the catch at 4:13! Wow the fish caller at 6:03, hopefully the fishies don't have caller i.d. so they can't see who's calling them. Pole dance at 7:14 😹😹. Wow the green slime bait was really effective. At 15:13 who is going to gut and clean the fish? That's my least favorite thing to do. Wow super time with family and best friends Adrian.

I used to eat at ranch Cafe in olancha till it closed, so your videos took me to country kitchen, but I will try totem cafe next. And the fishing video is great also.

Love to see the enthusiasm, definitely know how to catch them but need to work on our landing technique a bit 😅 Hopefully all these fish were kept and eaten and enjoyed! Really cool to see the bald eagles, I’ve been going up there my whole life and never seen them there!

Yes they were eaten and enjoyed, really fun trip always in Bishop. We have actually been seeing the bald eagles for the past few years, but they hang out at the boat ramp, and one we have seen several times across the water in a tree, he will hang out there for an hour or so. Other years we have seen them flying together too around there, maybe they are married, lol We have fished other parts of Pleasant Valley Reservoir but we have only noticed them there. Is country cafe still standing.they tore down everything around it when I drove by,so I assumed they would re open later.

The last time we drove by was in November and we noticed they had put fencing around it. Not sure what the plans are but it was a really nice tasty spot and we enjoyed eating there too. On our recent trip we stopped off at Totem Cafe in Lone Pine for Breakfast instead and it was really good too.
