Brendan Morrison and Dave Babych head to Kyuquot for an unforgettable trip to Walters Cove Resort, owned by the Kyuquot/Checleseht First Nations.
Known for the "Salmon Highway" Kyuquot is a World Class fishing destination on the West Coast of Vancouver Island. Offering some of the earliest access to fish travelling down the coast, Walters Cove Resort is a bucket list worthy location on any angler's dream list.
After some incredible salmon and bottom fishing, the team joins in on a unique Traditional Salmon BBQ with the Nation and then play a game of ball hockey at the local school.

Dave Babych is a beauty. A total class act and I love it every time you have him on. Thank you for including the cultural aspects of the first nations peoples and celebrating their way of life and their stewardship of the environment.

He was one of the best guides we ever hit the water with. We had a blast together. He will be missed for sure. He gave us a gaff as well and we use it all the time.

Your videos are a joy to watch and learn from. Really enjoyed the interaction with the first nation people at Kyuquot Village. Many years I was fortunate enough to fish at Margaret Lake Lodge in Alberta with Barry Thornton. The lodge was run by the Little River Cree Nation and is unfortunately closed today, hopefully they will be able to open it again in the future.

With Brendon and Dave in the bar that's a legends lounge not liers lounge. Watching Canucks right now on the tv and my favorite sport on my phone great job as always. I can't wait till summer to be back on the west coast of the island watching the kids surf and crush a few salmon too.

Kyuquot is an incredible location for sure. One we always love coming back to. We’ve always left there with great stories to tell.
Hey Brendan coming from Comox my dad owns a Grady, white 25 trophy pro we just brought it to the shop to get a new enclosure for around the windows and they broke our antenna off the top of our boat. They did not give us a refund or anything. I think this is kind of goofy, but keep up the great work on your videos.!

This was our boat for 2022 and will be our boat going forward. Kingfisher 3025 GFX. We love it!
