Fishing Gunlock Reservoir, Early Summer, Southwestern Utah

Returning to Gunlock after a year, we had a very successful day fishing for Crappie and Bluegill. Jen even manages to land a very nice Largemouth..thus proving to me that there are indeed Bass in that reservoir! Glad to see the reservoir producing some nice fish. We released all we caught!

I LOVE jet skiers! I love how they drive around in circles with no apparent purpose or destination. I love how they buzz my boat when I'm fishing and wave at me like they're my best friend. They are my absolute favorite next to wake boarders.

Nice size Crappie they are Great Eating to it looks like the lake has some good water in it too.
Wife stole the show on this one dude... she killed it out there. Nice work on the panfish!

There are huge bass in that lake. Small finess jig and trailer and you’ll catch a bunch. Drop shot works good as well.

Great Channel, we just moved to Kanab 3 months ago and man your videos have really helped me figure things out. We busted up crappie and bluegill at gunlock. One of my favorites so far. Have done really well on Powell too. We live near Jackson flats and although the bass fishing is tough, I've caught some beautiful rainbows and a giant 20lbs catfish on my little ultralight (very surprised). Anyway thanks for the great videos. If you ever want to get out on Jackson flats feel free to get a hold of me.

@@precipiceofgrind yes, it's hard fishing but rewarding. I say its around the size of Gunlock, but doesn't allow gas powered motors (so no jet skiers), but trolling motor will get you around. I'd be happy to show you some of the gear I've been successful with.
Why you throwing back the Crappie. Those are some of the best eating fish you can catch. 👍🏻 Thanks for the video.

what kinda line you using to catch the bluegill?
