Fishing For BIG Summer Lake Trout
Today we are back out fishing for big summer lake trout on Lake Superior. Summer is a great time to find these fish in deep water and the bite is only going to get better. In this video we are trolling for trout using dipsy divers, spoons and flasher and spin and glow combinations. We are fishing for these summer lake trout in depths of 90 to 120 feet of water. This is video 3 from a short series we shot on a recent trip to the big lake. Thanks for watching an stay tuned for more!

Would really love to see a informative video on how you run your dipsy divers. Set ups and depths. I am new to Lake Trout fishing and started runny dipseys. And tips and pointers would be deadly. Appreciate all the information you share on your channel. Cheers
Man beautiful fish
👍class act. What an awesome day for you on the water with friends.

You would have a blast on lake Ontario. You should plan a trip out here sometime
Lake flies. The worst. Immediate started scratching my ankles. Beautiful day!
What kind of extension handle do you run on your tiller?
Where are u on the bay ? I see the islands but am still curious... I go here every summer and would love to try this spot lol
Could you go over rod and reel selection and line choices for people wanting to give lake trout or salmon trolling a try without sinking tons of cash.
Nice big Greasers..love them BBQed on the grill
Send it all the way!
How deep were you running your lures in that 90-120 feet of water? Great video!
Smaller lakers still better than Walleye 😀 you need to try Lake Superior Salmon for a challenge 🎣🐟
Thanks for the video, Tom! Great content! I and my friend are planning to go trout fishing in a few days on Lake Superior. Is there any way you could help us out with a spot or a location that is good for newbies, please!? It's a 7-hour drive, and we have a dream to catch a lake trout, at least 1 each! If you could help us out it would be awesome! Thanks again for your videos!
Tom, trolling 3/4 oz spoons shallow on chequamegon bay. No weights - need to get down 15-20 feet. How much line do I let out?
What’s the net you’re using? I’m finding on anything over 26” it’s a bit of tight fit with the coated telescoping frabil I have. Looking to get something different for scooping when trolling with 7’-8’ rods and lead.... thanks in advance! PS LOVE ALL YOUR VIDEOS!
